st patrick was an immigrant in ireland

"It's fitting that we gather here each year to celebrate St. Patrick and his legacy. He, too, of course, was an immigrant," Kenny said.

The saint is believed to have been born somewhere in Britain.

"And though he is, of course, the patron saint of Ireland, for many people around the globe, he is also a symbol of, indeed, the patron of immigrants," Kenny said.

1. At the time, around 400 AD, Ireland was not a sovereign nation, but was instead a patchwork of

independent tribal territories, so the word "immigration" didn't apply in the same way it does today. If you want to use the term loosely to describe anyone who leaves his homeland to settle elsewhere, you might consider Roman Legionnaires who chose not to return to Rome after a successful conquest as immigrants also.

5. Did he break any laws by entering Ireland as an immigrant?

It seems that key fact would be germane to the discussion.

Again, why the conflation between immigrant and illegal immigrant?

8. Except the ones that come from the other 200+ countries

Not affected by the ban.

Roughly 90% of the worlds Muslims aren't affected by the "Muslim ban". If you hired a guy to paint your house, and he painted 10% of it, would you consider it painted? If Trump demanded healthcare for everyone, but excluded 90% of the people, would you consider that to be a comprehensive national healthcare system?

You can complain about the "Muslim ban", but trump appears to have half-assed that if his goal was to ban Muslims.

9. Who banned all Muslims? Nobody in the US.

Back to my actual question. Did St. Patrick enter Ireland illegally?

and I bet he didn't suck off of welfare, food stamps, free healthcare, free education and adversely affect the jobs and wages of people either.

16. Nope, but for the sake of argument

even if that were indeed true there's a big problem with your assertion. I wouldn't have been an illegal alien sucking off of other people's public assistance. I would of been a citizen receiving assistance meant for me.

17. right because in your mind youre part of the master race

if you need assistance then youre entitled to it . if a brown person needs it then they are undeserving moochers taking things that are "rightfully" yours .

19. You do realize

that if you wanted to expatriate to Mexico or Latin America or pretty much any other country that you have to prove to their government that you will not be a financial burden on their country. You did realize that didn't you? You also realize that as part of our "legal" immigration policy we do not make people prove the same. So spare me your leftist antics. We are a sovereign country with the most generous immigration policies. Those who disrespect our country and violate our national sovereignty have no right to anything but to be deported.

20. Race has nothing to do with it.

If they're in this country illegally, they have no right to take public assistance reserved for those who are here legally.

They might have been saved from a radicalized advocate of a Middle Eastern personality cult and all the horror that followed.
