What did Russia actually DO to influence our election?

It seems that every pointed action asked of Comey of what Russia did is a "no".

All I've got is that the tricked some schmo at the DNC into divulging his password. But what did they do with that information? Comey said that Wikileaks source was NOT Russia?

So what did Russia specifically do?

3. You can't even provide an 'maybe'? We elect our President via votes.

Comey has stated that Russia did not hack our machines. Can you think of some other way that Russia interfered?

They hacked the DNC, not our election.

10. Amazing, no one ever said Russia directly changed or meddled in vote totals,

that's radio rhetoric, Russia orchestrated an espionage effort to effect the election thru influencing peoples' view or perspective of candidates and issues. To deny they were successful would be to deny Wikileaks played any role in the right's portrait of Clinton

13. They were successful at using the Democrats own words against them, I agree.

That's what they did to influence the election. They simply exposed the DNC.

26. They "exposed" the DNC via espionage, espionage by a nation antagonistic toward the US,

and their goal in doing such was to undermine the US election process, plus, as we are finding out now, to influence the election in benefit of a particular candidate In all of this they were successful, which should be a concern to anyone who values America's democratic foundations

29. Of course it was espionage by a foreign nation. They sabotaged the DNC.

No, we are not 'finding out' what you suggest. We have either 'found' it, or are 'looking' for it. WHEN/IF they find something, I'll jump on board with you.

Any thoughts on what Russia actually exposed about the DNC?

17. To be honest I have never thought they manipulated our voting machines. An investigation will

put that to bed. As a candidate Hillary sucked and her loss is all on her ass and the fucking DNCs. I also don't think Comey would investigate the Trump campaign for no reason. Something is there and I'm good with them investigating it and putting a little sunlight on it.

31. That's a logical fallacy. Just because someone is investigating something

doesn't mean that there is anything there.

Think of investigations into birth certificates etc.

32. Oh horseshit. Senate investigations into Bengazzi!!and Hawaiian birth certificate are more

partisan and held to a lot lower standard than an FBI investigation. But you are right, the Senate investigation for years have been a fucking joke. We should have a special prosecutor for investigations that involve the White House. like Obama wiretapping and Trumps family and campaigns close ties to Russia.

19. They didn't hack the DNC. No proof has been given.

And the classified excuse for not showing the public is complete bs because we would reveal nothing about our methods by simply showing the who, why, when, where, and how of the crime.

2. The answer is NOTHING.

Hillary Clinton lost the election.

The conspiracy is that millions of Americans conspired not to vote for her.

Today's example of Democrat stupidity is a play to their base, to save face.

Their only hope is to make it impossible for Trump to govern. But that won't happen.

And Thursday, the final insult. The destruction the ACA.

to deny Russia influenced the election would be to deny Wilileaks and all the bogus "news" as PizzaGate for example had any affect on people. Why do you think Fox and the right wing media focused and hammered on such as Wilileaks?

and the various conspiracies that spun from it.

And let's get this straight: there have always been bogus bullshit stories circulated during presidential campaigns.

It was only when Grammy Cankie lost to Donald Trump and you Donks got schlonged yet again in the Congressional races that it became the basis for a campaign of "disinformation" perpetrated by shadowy furriners.

Also, what was in those emails that was so bad that it would make them vote for Trump instead of Hillary? What was so bad? Any specifics?

33. Why...

I think the question should be why would Russia want
to get involved at all?

The answer to that could be applied to just about anything, really.

Why would someone want to climb Mt. Everest, knowing people have died doing it?

Why do people hike the Appalachian Trail?

Go bungee jumping off bridges?

Why do people cheat on their spouses?

Why do they steal petty objects?

Why do people do a lot of what they do? Because they can and they want to, and they want to prove to themselves that they're able to do it, and....etc.

Some reasons don't even have to make any sense...

That is what is so funny about the situation. Dems running around in a tizzy with their panties in a bunch crying about how the truth was exposed.

That is if it was the Russians who hacked the dnc emails. I don't think they had anything to do with it.

38. Comey and Rogers both said today DONALD TRUMP's TWEETs WERE 100% false.

now the slow investigation will keep going for the next year or two or three

Watergate took 900 days

Both said, the Russian attack was the single worst attack by a foreign hostile nation against America ever.

Roger Stone and Paul Manafort are not Russian, and Julian Assange is not Russian
but working in collusion

The ties to Russia, on-going for months, has now been confirmed in public to all America.

(and why wasn't the American public told about this the week before the election
