Another postseason without Rutgers

Meanwhile, a down year for Syracuse still means a possible trip to the Mecca of College Basketball: Madison Square Garden.

Heck, SU probably would have lost in the first or second rounds of the NCAAs - this way, Orange fans can probably watch a few games and have a Garden Party.

Our former rivals UConn, Georgetown and St. Johns can only watch other teams play now, being relegated to Rutgersville.

Scoreboard: SU fans still have reason to check it.

1. Nice to see that the Zips made the NIT after being beaten by the Golden Flashes

2. Sorry, Red.

My team (WVU) was supposed to be hot shit in the NCAA tournament last year. But we got destroyed in the first round by Stephen F. Austin, whoever that is. I hope we at least make it through the first round this year. We play Bucknell on Thursday.

3. Huggy Bear is a good coach. You'll get past Bucknell.

That was a bummer.
