Volunteers Wanted for PTSD Study of Treatment Some Call a Miracle
Well, if it works, I'm for it. My main question is; What's the cost? Is it going to be affordable for the tens of thousands of vets suffering from PTSD?
A treatment involving the injection of a local anesthetic next to a bundle of nerves in the neck has eased post-traumatic stress symptoms in some patients in as little as 30 minutes with dramatic, lasting results.
Besides Landstuhl, Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C., and Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, are participating.

Then vote for representatives who will help to drive the cost down and make sure there is room in the budget for it.
