War Zone: Baltimore Erupts Into Violence, Chaos as #BlackLivesMatter Riots Rage

All of a sudden, beer bottles and cans, and other projectiles were lobbed by the protesters into the crowds of fans. To get those projectiles, the protesters stole them forcibly from the bartenders and vendors set up outside each of those three bars. One beer can whizzed by my brother’s face, missing him by about six inches, and more flew all over the crowded area.

The crowd of protesters then stopped a blue station wagon carrying a white family as they tried to drive past Pickles, Bullpen and Sliders along a narrow one-way stretch between the bars and the main road. As a horde of them smashed their open and closed fists on the hood of the car—while impeding them by standing in front of them—the driver backed up on the one way pass in a desperate attempt to get out of dodge. Then, stopped on the other side with nowhere to go, protesters ripped open the passenger door of the car and began reaching around inside the vehicle. As hundreds of people looked on, including several police officers who didn’t engage the violent protesters, the white woman in the front seat—middle-aged and a little heavyset with dark hair—was visibly terrified. The group of black men who ripped open the car door suddenly realized they were separated from the larger group of protesters and abandoned their quest to seemingly either carjack the station wagon or rob the people inside in front of hundreds, driving out of the one-way street back onto the main road and presumably out of dodge.

As projectiles continued flying everywhere from each part of the crowd—like a war-zone—another black man then charged into the crowd of Red Sox and Orioles fans standing outside Pickles Pub and tore the metal barricades apart throwing them into the now-crowded one-way pass where the assaulted station wagon was a moment ago.

2. Disgraceful actions like this...

Are a significant part of the problem that minorities face in their protracted struggle against discrimination..
Only their own leadership holds the key to eventually eliminate this bullshit among the worst of their ranks..
We've got our "bigots", they've got their "thugs"..We BOTH need to work hard and long to fix it..!!!

4. It had been a peaceful protest for several days, but ...

in my opinion (and according to many of the locals) at some point a bunch of out-of-town idiots realized, "HEY, I can drive to B'more and do me some protesting!" That's when it went south. I saw people trying to leave Camden Yard last night to get to their cars after the O's game attacked by some of those cowardly punks. I
thought that the police were incredibly professional and amazingly restrained in their response.

Letting innocent people get beat up and thousands of dollars of property get destroyed isn't acting professional, they weren't doing their job.

9. And if they had tried doing their job and a "protester" had gotten hurt

Then people would be screaming police brutality.

Place barricades up and tell the "protesters" you stay in that area and do what you want, you cross "this" line all hell will rain down on you.......

Also tell them NO fire or rescue unit's will respond inside of the "protest zone".....they want to loot and burn their own neighborhoods it's on them to put out the fires.

Liberal doctors and nurses can volunteer as medics.....without LEO escort. I'm sure there will be 100"s of people lining up for that duty

30. How does anyone know the perps are from "out of town"?

Every time there is one of these wildings, we hear that it wasn't the people that live there...it was people from "out of town."

How does anyone know that? Did they take roll call?

Are we really expected to believe that in each and every city that this occurs in, no people that live there would ever do this, but people from out of town will?

That's kinda like walking into your kitchen and seeing your kids and their friends with an empty cookie jar, and you believing that it was only your children's friends that ate the cookies....but your children didn't eat any.

an opinion. I then went on to reference what many locals have been quoted as saying in both the D.C. and Baltimore news media.
As you say, no one can "know", at least at this point, the truth of those claims. I was simply attempting to provide some local perspective.

7. Because each ethnic group should live in its own community with its own police

By organizing local communities into mono-ethnic enclaves, they can elect politicians of their own ethnicity to run the government. These politicians can recruit and manage a police force which will behave according to the conventional mores of the ethnicity.

For example, if black people do not want their police to exercise the power of arrest, they should be able to do so.

Or at least that appears to be the prevailing sentiment expressed in the media.

And punched out innocent people. And stole and set on fire 144 cars. And burned down buildings, including a brand new senior citizen center that could have provided services to many black elderly people.

And they did many more horrific things.

10. Glad I live in the free State of Florida

When there was talk of riots coming after the Zimmerman verdict, most of us laughed about it. Most armed whites would not have hesitated to kill savage criminals bent on murder, rape, kidnapping, and theft.

If I'm driving along and some scum rush my car threatening my family. I'm grabbing my stashed guns (have a specially made drawer for my truck that most can't find and can only be opened with a button sequence on the radio), one S&W Model 10 with a dehorned hammer (previous owner dropped it on its hammer and broke off the edge so I just removed it) loaded with 180 grain LSWCHP pushing 750 fps from a 4" barrel, or/and a Glock 17 9mm JHPs. I keep three reloads for each in the drawer.

I'll keep pulling the trigger till the marauding savages stop attacking, simple as that, fuck pushing the pedal to the floor till after I'm on my last reload for each. If I can back up, fine, if I can't I'm going forward and I don't give a fuck. I'll have reasonable grounds to believe the dangerous scum were attempting to commit a forcible felony of kidnapping (not to mention murder, rape, etc.) that justifies the use of deadly force in Florida.

Too many living scum bags, too few dead scum bags, that seems to be the problem.

If this shit got heated because of folks from out of town, that's a shame. But this is getting ridiculous. It's time for law abiding people to start putting some of them law breaking mongrels down.

But out of 35 arrests, only 3 weren't local. They will keep pushing the narrative to avoid having to admit that the locals ARE the problem.
