MINNESOTA LEGISLATURE PASSES BIPARTISAN BILL TO LEGALIZE SUPPRESSORS

Late last night, both chambers of the Minnesota legislature voted overwhelmingly to pass Senate File 878, an Omnibus public safety finance and policy bill which includes a provision that will legalize suppressors in Minnesota. The vote came towards the end of a legislative session that kept lawmakers at the capitol throughout the weekend. After a great deal of debate and discussion, the Minnesota Senate passed SF 878 by a veto-proof 55-9 majority, and the House quickly followed suit, voting 116-15 to pass the bill and send it to Gov. Dayton’s desk.

2. Good luck. We're seeing states

becoming much more open to silencers. With the advent of the new information age people are learning the reality of them - not the Hollywood hype. Texas even opened up silencers for hunting use a few years back. They really are going main stream now with more and more manufactures having threaded barrels for silencers.

6. Now we need Federal point of sale, cash and carry tax stamps..

The wait is hampering sales... I have a total of nearly 3 years of combined waits on cans alone, add in the SBRs and the SBS and I have close to a decade of of time I have been prohibited of proper and legal use of my own property

9. Not so fast

Our left-wing mental defective governor hasn't signed it yet and has threatened to veto is if he doesn't get to spend $1 billion on the teachers union.

10. teachers union really he wants to spend it on the teachers union?

Are you sure you don't mean education? And explain why it's wrong to give that money that was taken err borrowed from education in the first place to cover up for a Republican deficit.

15. Let him veto away.

There is plenty enough for an override.

17. They reduce muzzle noise considerably but by no means...

...do they make a firearm fire silently. Sound suppressor is the proper technical term (to distinguish them from flash suppressors, which redirect but don't eliminate muzzle flash. )
