...literally any day of the year if you are at a high enough elevation.

2. Unlike you folks

Climate realists understand several things. Two of these are:

1. Weather is not climate.

2. CO2 AGW is called global because it is global.

2015 was the warmest year on records. 2016 shows ever sign of following this trend.

Do you scold THEM for not understanding climate change?

6. Why do the doomers think weather = climate in summer when it's hot but

weather does not = climate in winter when it's cold ??
Why don't "climate scientists" understand this??

8. That's a complete strawman argument

you are grouping every climate realist together and claiming that the statements of few represent the whole. You yourself made the naively uniformed statement about the snow in the Sierra - I'm calling you out for it.

Your political opinion does not over rule science and the science is clear.

Since the mid 1970s, global temperatures have been warming at around 0.2 degrees Celsius per decade. However, weather imposes its own dramatic ups and downs over the long term trend. We expect to see record cold temperatures even during global warming. Nevertheless over the last decade, daily record high temperatures occurred twice as often as record lows. This tendency towards hotter days is expected to increase as global warming continues into the 21st Century.

12. Bull, when the climate jihadists are losing the argument, point to politicized science, and claim

The science is clear. Do tell, why is that the jihadists only want to look at records of the last one hundred fifty years. Let's go way back over several millennia prior to the little ice age. Periods like the Maunder Minimum, Greenland, the Thames freezing over four times, Roman Warm Period etc. etc. etc.

It's also a known fact that the receding glaciers in the Glacier National Park is revealing forests that have been buried by one thousand meter thick ice. How's that?

There's no such thing as normative temps and climate due to fact that climate changes, with or without man. Climate will change regardless of anything man does, and get this, warmer is better than colder.

The only thing you know, is what you've allowed to be shoved down your throat and I know your argument better than you do and don't expect to find the truth of this matter from any politicized left wing source.

26. Wow!

Where do I start...

You think you "my argument better than (I) do" but you would be wrong.

Let's begin with a single point. Climate scientists definitely look at climate trends much farther back than "150 years". I'll gladly discuss the climate back thousands of years including the "Maunder minimum, the freezing of the Thames and the Roman Warming Period, ect." This significantly helps my argument which is NOT POLITICAL.
While debunking your alleged points could be done in a single paragraph with a fairly simple data reference, instead I'm going to take my time and post my rebuttal at my leisure.

Much more to come. You opened the door so get ready. And no, you have no idea who I am nor what I know.

27. OK here are the CO2 and methane time serious from ice cores which form the foundation of my case

CO2 concentration:

Methane concentration:

Notice that this data goes much further back than the Roman warming period for example. Notice specifically the troubling co2 concentration spike which exceeds the vertical axis of the graph. It an even stronger spike now as the concentration is currently over 400 ppm.

We can go back further than just the Holocene but then we have to rely on proxies other than ice cores.

29. As promised the 2nd installment

So yes, indeed, the climate has definitely changed before! We see two important things in past changes. The first is that CO2 and methane are correlated with increased temperature. In the cases that show fast climate change (like the kind that is occurring now as documented by our recent temperature record) is associated with mass extinction events.

It is important to note that the current CO2 spike is human generated as we know from the isotopic ratios of the carbon-12 to carbon-14 and carbon-13. This means that the current CO2 level is unprecedented for hundreds of thousands of years. That's almost 1 million years as shown in the ice core data. If we want to see times when the CO2 level was as high as it is today and changed as fast we have to look much further back in time. When we do this we see dramatic climate change and species extinction at dramatic levels.

The following figure is instructive:

We have to go all the way back to the time of dinosaurs and indeed the climate was much warmer then that is today. The troubling part is that we (humans) are responsible for the current co2 levels. And the dramatic climate change will have a dramatic impact on the planet. This will include first it's poorest peoples. If the co2 emissions are not regulated and quickly ended the larger civilizations on the planet will be effected. Trillions will be lost to the economy fighting a problem which could have been prevented by making small changes now.

In my final installments I will be reviewing the article from "The New American" which you posted. I hope you are not in love with it as it is pretty sad... sort of child's play but I need the practice so stay tuned.

15. 1. You obviously have not a clue what constitutes a "strawman (Sic) argument."

2. Your phony religion is slowly coming to pieces as the facts year after year after year show that this mythical creature you call "global warming" stubbornly refuses to show up.

There is no such thing as man-made global warming: it no more exists than does the tooth fairy or Unicorns.

Go find yourself another religion.

7. Liberal "science"

Unseasonably warm weather is a harbinger of devastating global warming.

Unseasonably cold weather is just weather and has no relationship to climate.
