The Real Hunger Games

?itok=IHu-v7zq

This Country Is Sliding into a Socialist Black Hole

I've seen one report saying that owners of pure bred pets have turned them loose as they can't afford to feed them. This is a truly sad story. Maduro's demanding that the parliament be done away with but it appears the military may finally be having enough of socialism.

1. Maduro is a dead man walking. He'll be taken out any day, I would bet.

2. Socialism destroyed Venezuela. This is why you need an armed society.

3. It's horrible to watch this happen to any nation, but especially one that loves baseball as much as

they do. The Venezuelan people deserve so much better than this.

6. Heinlein quote.

"Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.” RAH

8. I think it's from one of the Lazarus Long novels,

"Time Enough for Love". Been a while, I cannot be sure. The quote has always stuck with me.
