1. I have been watching the hearing,

My question is why are some people pleading the 5Th? I understand it is their right but what are they hiding.

2. Taking the 5th is a trap.

Give them immunity and they have to tell the truth or go to jail.

Someone will break.

3. Can you subpoena documents covered by the Privacy Act?

I mean if the Democrats ran Congress could they subpoena Trump's tax records.

6. Nothings going to come of it

Other than possibly make people who are on the fence decide to vote for Hillary because the republicans wont quit "beating up on a woman" boo hoo, boo hoo, sniffle, and so forth.

Hillary is above the law, they need to just accept it, and move on to helping trump get elected.

Oh, that's right, establishment republicans would rather Hillary get elected, scratch that.

8. Sure, investigate the investigation. Waste a little more time and taxpayer money.

If they just keep digging a little bit longer and a little bit deeper, they are bound to find something that they haven't uncovered in the last 25 years of investigations. I just love the optimism of Republicans.

It's not like they have any other business that needs to be attended to, right?

25 bills and resolutions are on the House and Senate calendars for the coming days.

H.R. 3590: Halt Tax Increases on the Middle Class and Seniors Act
The House Majority Leader indicated the bill would be considered in the week ahead on Sep 9, 2016.
H.R. 5351: To prohibit the transfer of any individual detained at United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The House Majority Leader indicated the bill would be considered in the week ahead on Sep 9, 2016.
H.R. 5620: VA Accountability First and Appeals Modernization Act of 2016
The House Majority Leader indicated the bill would be considered in the week ahead on Sep 9, 2016.
H.R. 5587: Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act
The House Majority Leader indicated the bill would be considered in the week ahead on Sep 9, 2016.
S. 2848: Water Resources Development Act of 2016
The Senate added the bill to its floor schedule for the following day on Sep 9, 2016.
H.Res. 728: Supporting human rights, democracy, and the rule of law in Cambodia.
The House Majority Leader indicated the resolution would be considered in the week ahead on Sep 8, 2016.

9. "Waste a little more time and taxpayer money."

50 Examples of Government Waste

7. Washington will spend $2.6 million training Chinese prostitutes to drink more responsibly on the job.

11. The Pentagon recently spent $998,798 shipping two 19-cent washers from South Carolina to Texas and $293,451 sending an 89-cent washer from South Carolina to Florida.

13. Health care fraud is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $60 billion annually.

18. Despite trillion-dollar deficits, last year's 10,160 earmarks included $200,000 for a tattoo removal program in Mission Hills, California; $190,000 for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming; and $75,000 for the Totally Teen Zone in Albany, Georgia.

35. The state of Washington sent $1 food stamp checks to 250,000 households in order to raise state caseload figures and trigger $43 million in additional federal funds.

Lots more here:

How about if we start eliminating some of this BS first?

10. Fine, maybe they can squeeze that into their busy schedule as well, but they keep everything

tied up with endless investigations that are held only to appease their base. If this wasn't an election year, these investigations into Hillary Clinton probably wouldn't be held at all.

11. "...only to appease their base."

Right.

It has nothing to do with actually doing their job or anything.

That's why they call it the "Government Reform and OVERSIGHT" committee.

By thew way, pagliano was subpoenaed to testify today.

He didn't show up.

He's a wanted man now.

He was given immunity and STILL refuses to testify.

He knows too much, so the kkklinton machine has pressured him to keep quiet, even in the face of jail time.

Some other loser, who worked for Platte River and also granted immunity, showed up but plead the fifth.

Another on the kkklinton watch list.

An ex-employee of the kkklinton slush fund is actually answering questions.

EVERY question.

I fear for his safety.
