WASHINGTON (ABC7) — A grand jury indicted 146 more people on Wednesday in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on felony rioting charges in connection with Inauguration Day.

A press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. says the 146 people were facing charges relating to incidents that occurred in the four-block area from the intersection of 13th and O Street NW to the intersection of 12th and L Street NW on January 20.

Of the 230 people arrested and charged with felony rioting connected with Inauguration Day, 209 have now been indicted.

The U.S. Attorney's Office also dismissed the felony rioting charges against Michael Adkins, John Baker and Jesse Schultz. These three are among the 12 cases that have been dismissed.

So now the plea bargaining begins. This isn't some little misdemeanor charge, this is a Federal felony rap. Not a place for the weak of heart, or dedication to the cause.

3. (Sniff... sniff)... Do you smell that? It seems to be coming from behind the Democratic chambers...

.. in the House of Representatives! It's... the aroma of smoke from burning bandanas and pamphlets and protest signs once carried bravely by Democratic legislators amid the protesting leftist populace when there was only political gain resulting from their foray into the streets...

4. They destroyed a lot of private property. They should be put on trial. The idea that a riot would

stop Trump from being sworn in is something I just can't quite understand.

I can understand demonstrations (not rioting) when there is a CLEAR point and it might accomplish some good, like before a declaration of an illegal war based on trumped up charges (see what I did there?).

This was just butt hurt Clintonistas tearing up other people's property and spinning their wheels. Fools all. They accomplished not one damn thing.

5. Totally agree on demonstrating.

Everyone has the right to protest. The acts of violence take it from protests to riots. Rioters who damage property and purposefully harm people need to be reigned in and prosocuted.
