Man who made bomb threats going to trial in December

Homegrown terrorist:

HOLBROOK, AZ — A man who allegedly threatened to blow up a court complex and an entire town earlier this year is behind bars in the Navajo County.

Mark Stanley Muktarov, 34, is still in the Navajo County jail in Holbrook after being arrested April 26 for allegedly threatening to bomb the town of Snowflake, the Navajo County Court complex just outside Holbrook, and targeting specific attorneys and staff in Navajo County Attorney Brad Carlyon’s office.

Back in April The Independent learned from Snowflake-Taylor Police Lt. Robert Martin that Muktarov called them around 5:45 p.m. that day threatening to “blow up our city,” as well as making death threats against officers and their families before abruptly hanging up.
He goes to trial on those charges at 9 a.m. Dec. 13 in Holbrook.
