1. Well if that's really

what the law says, then the judge did fine. But the law is an ass.

2. "...destroyed on the walls of dilapidated warehouse buildings torn down to make room for...

...high-rise luxury residences."

Hmm. Graffiti on others' property, property legally sold to be torn down for new construction, asshole judge thinks trespassers with paint have a superior claim. On to appellate court!..

3. I'm wondering who would want to pay

luxury prices to live so close to the train and the smoke stacks.

4. That is 5 Pointz in Queens.

The artwork was totally legal. Space was assigned to each artist to complete their work.

It served several specific functions, one was to help move graffiti from the urban landscape to a legit location.

NYC is almost graffiti free these days.

8. I'll admit I jumped the gun on the "Crime does pay" comment

But the owner of the building should be able to tear it down for new construction of condos that was approved by the city.

10. "Aerosol art"? You mean they're killing the environment? Surely the environmentalists were out

protesting such a display on a daily basis.
