U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson struck down Manafort's argument Tuesday.

A federal judge on Tuesday rejected ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort's long-shot request to throw out all charges against him, effectively clearing the way for his case to go to trial.

Manafort, who faces a laundry list of charges, including conspiracy against the U.S., money laundering, bank and wire fraud, has argued his indictment is the product of an overzealous special prosecutor who overstepped his investigative scope by looking into his past business dealings in Ukraine.

But, for a second time, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson struck down Manafort's argument Tuesday.

"The indictment falls squarely within that portion of the authority granted to the Special Counsel that Manafort finds unobjectionable: the order to investigate 'any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign,'" Jackson wrote, quoting Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's appointment of Mueller last May.

1. He is fighting in

2 separate federal courts. Judge Ellis still has to rule in his district.

He was also very dubious of the Mueller mandate on this case in his court.

I am not a lawyer so I ask those with knowledge on what would happen if one district said Mueller was in his mandate and another said no he was not and dismissed their part of the case on the same argument that lost in another?

Let the Court do its work and we will see what happens.

2. The bottom line is Muller should not be empowered to look anywhere

other than the 2016 election. This entire event is an attempt to invalidate an election they lost nothing more. Sadly the MSM, and frankly everyone asking what do these charges have to do with your investigation? We are paying him to investigate Russia and Collusion yet it doesn't seem like there is anything there so they just keep going?

It is like paying someone to paint my house, the decided my lawn needs mowing instead.

5. This isn't news: Its just expected standard operating procedures

Everyday in thousands of courts its typical for defense to request the court dismiss their case. The courts rarely do. This story is just lefty's fake news sensationalizing something to try and make it look like a big deal.

7. Who's down?

You counting your chickens before they hatch? Why is prosecution refusing the judge's order to hand over the unredacted "scope memo"?

Advance this video, yes I know its Limbaugh and I know how you lefties dislike Limbaugh, but bare with me for just a few moments. Advance this video to 40:55 and just listen for 2½ minutes until the video reaches 43:32.

8. I listen to him when I'm driving occassionally.

There's a leftist behind every thing that's wrong with America.

I can see why folks love him. He tells them what they believe to be true.

A great example of what makes America great. You can believe whatever you want.

I believe the court will decide what happens to Manafort.
