MSNBC: IRS will pay tax refunds despite government shutdown

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/07/white-house-official-says-tax-refunds-will-be-sent-out-despite-government-shutdown.html

...federal income tax refunds would indeed go out despite a large part of the government being shut down.

About 12 percent of IRS staff are expected to continue working through a shutdown... (which means that 88% of the IRS is not needed...ie. non-essential). Senator Chuck U. Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi are working to represent the hard working tax payers of the United States.

Peace OUT!

1. Federal government employees get tax refunds from the IRS too.

So do members of Congress.

2. Senator Chuck U. Schumer and Rep Nancy Pelosi do not give a good crap ...

about the hard working tax payers of the United States.

Schumer and Pelosi are just playing stupid political games as usual and attempting to deny Trump his wall.

3. They never weren't going to pay the refunds

It was just leftist fear mongering.
