Massive Fires Erupt After Drone Strike Hits World's Largest Oil Processing Facility In Saudi Arabia

What appears to be the most devastating Yemen Houthi rebel attack on Saudi Arabia to date, took place overnight on the world's largest oil processing facility as stunning videos emerged of massive explosions rocking the major Aramco Buqyaq facility.

Fires burned into the morning daylight hours, with explosions also reported at the Khurais oil field, in what the Houthis said was a successful attack involving ten drones. "These attacks are our right, and we warn the Saudis that our targets will keep expanding," a rebel military spokesman said on Houthi-operated Al Masirah TV.

Saudi authorities — initially slow or reluctant to identify the cause of the major blaze — on Saturday issued a confirmation via the Saudi Press Agency: "At 4.00am (01:00 GMT) the industrial security teams of Aramco started dealing with fires at two of its facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais as a result of... drones," an interior ministry statement said, which further claimed the fires were "under control".

#Buqayq city view as #Aramco facilities burn. Very likely to be an attack of some sort as gunshots are also heard. #SaudiArabia #Saudi

3. This is an act of war against Saudi Arabia by Iran. Plain and simple.

I do believe we have some strong mutual defense agreements with SA.

I would not be surprised if Trump is already making plans to back SA in a retaliatory strike.

This will not go unanswered.

Trump is not like Obama who backed out of every treaty we had rather than stand up to specific overseas terrorism and terrorist sponsoring nations.

Obama only killed, indiscriminately, via drone strikes and then did his best to keep the record of collateral damage, innocent people killed by his orders, out of the news.

That was the way Obama thought he was fighting a "Safe and Clean War".

6. That is true of one side, Saudi Arabia can strike them back where they find them.

SA has been the biggest buyer of military hardware from the USA for many, many years.

So, including your arrogance of seeming to believe you control the Saudi strikes, Where are they allowed to strike and what is out of bounds.

What is now out of bounds is only what SA and the USA thinks is out of bounds.

I like history,

Nuclear weapons made it so we never had to put up with Japanese military attacks ever again..

After two, we actually let them know that more would be on the way if necessary. No more sneak or terrorist attacks from the Japanese.

Just factual history you can find it on youtube as well.

9. Sure you do, just set the bomb sights on Iran. After two large nuclear yields Japan was friendly.

So far it has worked every time.
