1. Cops were really afraid of a cascade effect after Dallas apt shooting

And it is coming true. How bad it gets remains to be seen. Contrast this with the blatant shooting of a suspect walking away in Chicago and the charges there.

3. I get it that people get scared and angry and that some of them wear a uniform.

This one is over the top. There was no crime, there was no crime reported. All they had to do was to knock on the front door.

5. That he was charged so quickly is a surprise considering what has happened in the past

if it is a serious sea change or just temporary remains to be seen

6. From what I read, he had is body cam on, Snuck up to the window, shot her through the open window.

No announcement of any kind that he was there or that he was an LEO.

This was a welfare check with no suspected crime of any kind reported. They should have knocked on the front door and announced themselves.

I don't know if this was bad training, fear, or just lazy but it was quick, lethal, and wrong from the ground up.

2. Sounds like an unjustified shooting.

If convicted the officer should answer for the crime.
But for God's sake, stop race baiting people. Do the morons at CBS think that an officer saw a black woman and thought "Oh great, now's a good chance to waste another black person"?

7. I agree none of my posts have said anything about race.

This is so far outside of what should have happened that I have no clue if they even knew what race the lady was.
