Obama will NEVER investigat "W".

It is an unwritten rule that following administrations do not investigate prior administrations.

2. yeah, no shit.

That was obvious when Pelosi and Reid took it off the table YEARS ago.

Plus Obama is almost done, it feels he's going to coast out the door. Nothing is going to get done this year and if each party controls a house of Congress after this year, nothing will get done till the 2016 elections. I predict stalemates forever.

7. Please, could you quote that lie?

I remember W saying that we needed to topple Saddam before he got nukes. And Saddam did have (and use) chemical WMDs.

Yup

10. Very interesting - didn't know this.

It will be a very strong point next time the loonies in the shop are worshiping their idols.

5. Doesn't that fall under the jurisdiction of congress?

Particularly regarding war crimes? The Hague could investigate if the US was a signatory to the International Criminal Court. That's how I was hoping he would deal with it, not that congress would ever agree to that. They won't even ratify the disability treaty.

12. You're just having a great time!

I'll never vote Republican. Look how much worse Romney would have been; privately owned drones, controlled by foreign contractors, success determined by profit margin with CEO bonuses for most collateral damage. Obama is bad enough, I'll give you that. Romney would have been a nightmare.

14. dance of life

Presidents don't like to investigate their predecessors, because they don't want that to happen to them when they leave office.

16. That would be too much of a slippery slope.

And in this partisan, radicalized political environment, it would not end well.

17. If a war crimes trial did take place how far could it go?

If, for instance, it is discovered that Congress knew that Bush "lied" but gave him the power to move forward anyway would they be brought to trial also, regardless of what party they are a member of of?
