This new George W. Bush isn't going to fool the country's immune system.

Trump's not going to be able to start any wars, trade or otherwise. The Republicans are wrong and heavily infiltrated by the forces of stupidity and meanness, but they know full well what another George W. Bush could do to them.

Trump knows it too. We are just going to see a bunch of Potemkin villages spring up as Trump tries to manipulate the media into playing his game.

3. This new George W. Bush? That's rather sad for you to use him, Obama validated everything the Bush

13. Ok, so maybe it really is me.

I'll blame it on my caffeine level I guess.

So Trump is just another Bush. Rich kid, "decider," penchant for political theater, "boldness," "working man's friend," etc.

But the country is on guard against Bush type damage. Like the immune system sees a disease and remembers its signature for future fights with the disease, the American people, in general, and Republicans, in particular, have experience with rash, expensive, destructive decisions coming from a "leader" surrounded by sycophants. That's going to have a moderating effect on Trump.

But it may not be necessary, because Trump may be content to erect "Potemkin villages." That is, he and the Republicans may be content to simply stage "successes and diversions." The Carrier deal would be one example, but the pattern can be used for most other things.

14. That is a bit better.

You really should have more faith in the intelligence of the population.
Believe it or not, people are a lot more perceptive then much of the left wing gives them credit for.

President Trumps success will not be measured by pundits but by peoples view of their lives and if the government is hurting them as they try to make their way.

15. leftists have delusions of superiority and feel only condescension towards average Americans

thus, nonsense like this.

They think they are the only ones that rescue people from themselves. That is why they pat minorities on the head and put just enough money in the minority's pocket to make them dependent.

They are laughed at but can't see it with their noses in the air.

16. I see none of Bush and his b.s. 'compassionate conservativism' in Trump. Bush was party first.

2nd para: Both parties have have that issue for many years.

Opening two lines: That's was stand up Swifty.
