1. I assume you mean the Trump Agenda?

The Senators from Deep Red States know their Constituents will take Scalps if they try to stand too much in his way

Rand Paul is playing coy, but he's looking to deal

2. No, the culture wars that will end in Civil War 2. Inevitable unless someone completely gives up no?

8. Not inevitable: the union will break up first.

Happy to get the ball rolling up here in Cascadia...

14. Whyever not?

There are plenty of military bases/installations up here, and in any peaceful breakup of the union, those will be part of the negotiations with the other regions/states. Basically, Cascadia would be a nuclear power. We can hold our own.

If anything, we'd might actually take in a nice little nest egg: given that all states have been part of paying for the federal military, we all start as baseline equal shareholders. Now we'd probably be keeping a level of military resources somewhat larger than our proportion of the total population, and that would have to be paid for. However, both Washington and Oregon are "net giver" states: we pay more in federal taxes than we receive, and that's been true for decades. Not sure where the break-even point might lie...

15. Your mistake would be in assuming that the military would back a non-conservative power.

These are men who deal with tangibles and results. They put men on the ground in tough spots; you all put men in women bathrooms and argue about gay cakes.

Oregon and Washington are not "net giver" states. They have zero connection to the raw materials they refine. They are, in all practical terms, smelter states; a conduit for capitol to aggregate and change direction.

You don't understand your own world, how could you defend it??

16. Try reading with greater diligence.

Doing so would help you avoid embarrassingly egregious errors like mistaking my "net giver" assertion for anything other than applying to total federal tax revenues. Sloppy, but at least it's a nice change from your usual neckbeard-ish frothing over the possibility of violent unrest. Damned near what a grown-up might do...

Moreover, what raw materials were you under the impression we "refine" here? Yes there was once aluminum production carried out here, but that's not been the case for a decade and a half. You actually have no idea whatsoever about the potential competitiveness of a Cascadian economy, do you? I do.

As for your bizarre inference about the military's loyalty only being given to a conservative power, well...there's this thing called history. Which contains precisely zero examples of the military refusing to follow non-conservative leadership in any meaningful way...

I rather obviously understand far more about "my own world" than you do. Yours, too, I suspect...but I don't particularly care about your world, so that's moot.

19. Eastern Washington will not be on the same side as King County.

We got the Grand Coulee Dam, Hanford, the air force base etc - and we grow your grub in the Columbia Basin. We’re also very well armed. We’ll stick with Idaho, eastern Oregon, Montana, Wyoming etc etc. thank you very much.

13. A little N Korean false flag, or maybe a Iranian made missile is fired of the

Coast of Yemen at a passing US ship. Israel can rig something for us like the good ole days to draw us in. Maybe a well placed embassy bombing, they always gets the patriotic flag wavers out for some revenge on a third world shit hole that's not responsible and can't fight back.

The world economy is fake and it's crashing, we need a big war to distract and hide the guilty parties

6. Authoritarians have already pushed the envelope of how much they can control peoples' lives.

Authoritarianism is doomed. The surveillance society and police state needed to pursue their agenda will not be tolerated - People are already working to undermine and subvert them.
