America needs an annulment of the tRump "presidency"

When it comes to marriage, annulment differs from a divorce. If granted, an annulment is retroactive. Legally, the marriage is considered to have never happened.

That's what we need when it comes to tRump: an annulment. A ruling that would mean that the name tRump and the title of president were never linked in any way.

6. Let's say for the sake of argument that Trump illegally cheated his way into the presidency.

If that turns out to be the case, what remedy would you recommend? Even if Trump is impeached - highly unlikely with the highly partisan Republican Congress in place - Pence takes over the distinctly Trump administration. I can't think of any measure that would effectively deter election cheaters in the future. I think that's a real big vulnerability.

8. No such thing as Annulment in the US Constitution for removing a president

A Procedure is in place.

No Annulments, do overs, "He cheated's"....

Impeach or get off the pot

11. That's my point, there is no real deterrent to election cheating.

There is no penalty severe enough to deter the crime. Either way the cheating party wins.

16. Can you give us an example of this "illegal cheating"... for the sake of argument of course.

Exposing Democrats and their bullshit isn't cheating.

7. In fairness, there is a rational poster on that thread.

Damning with faint praise, granted.

12. Isn't cute (but DUlesional) that they think they are going to win big in 2018

Post 9 "will just have to wait until 2019, when the Repubicans will get slaughtered in the mid-terms."

As it stands now, it is likely the Republicans will pick up at least a few seats in the Senate and are unlikely to lose the House.

The DUmmies seem to forget that while most people dislike Congress as a whole, they almost always choose to re-elect the Senators and their Representative. Re-election of incumbents runs better then 95%
