2. He has really matured since the Crossfire days back in the early 2000's.

He has actually become a solid reporter. He kept asking this bloviating idiot factual questions and he kept receiving talking points, vacant religious stares, and no actual knowledge of the Paris Accords.

This is the hypocrisy of most of the left on this.

and I record just in case I miss it for whatever reason. A shining star on that network.

as often as I can. I rarely miss an episode but at least know I can catch up on them easily.

hearing their side, unvarnished and unopposed.

34. Maybe you can explain something.

He insists that Congress could have voted in 2009 on an agreement that was made in December of 2015.

If you can explain that, I'll watch the rest of the video. As it stands, I can't get past the buffoonery in order to continue watching.

7. More Fake News

He made a one sided case, which is fervently lapped up by folks of his faith; e.g. Preaching to the choir.

Very lame standard but certainly indicative of the deplorable state of our M$M today.

Hopefully some of his viewers will take the initiative to learn more about the other side of this false debate between big energy and science.

14. Wrong; Corporate Energy decided that long ago...

The public are simply parroting the cleverly designed, and highly effective propaganda catapulted daily from their corporate masters.

However, It is fasinating observing how effective it is, and should be required viewing for all students of business, sales, and marketing (besides just the social sciences) to learn how to employ such tactics for their own fields.

The world is not one big conspiracy theory with shadowy powers that be lurking.
I know this is the excuse of the left always but it is silly.

29. As a layman; I simply want to see a national effort towards green energy

And dirty fossil fuels deprecated except in times of emergency.

For the details around why this makes sense talk to a real scientist in this domain for better answer, rather than ignorant blowhards on the internet or know-nothing limousine teeVee personalities.

Make sense?

37. IOW, you are forcing behavioral change thru legislation.

If green energy was as efficient as fossil fuels (it is getting there, but not there yet, and it still relies on tax breaks to compete) economics would force the use of renewables. But you did not answer the question. What is the optimal average global temperature that glowbull warming enthusiasts are shooting for?

And when the economics of say decreasing the global average by say 2 decrees C forces the poor to go without AC in the summer or 3rd world countries to not being able to build green energy facilities and it cities going dark, what do YOU do. I know that the answer is for the transfer of wealth but eventually the people with the means are going to get tired of being the well.

10. What in the hell are you going about?

Carlson wasn't making any case. He repeatedly asked a straight forward factual question which the 'religious' mayor could not or would not respond to.

Carlson wasn't taking a side which is why he is worth watching these days.

I seriously doubt you even watched this.

18. Fake News

But even Tuck acknowledged, what I'm pointing out, about 1/2 way through his fake news diatribe of spin and strawmen that there are legit counter arguments... which of course he didn't deign to mention but instead carried o with his fake news.

30. What question? I pointed out the sophistry of this presentation

Did you not understand my op?

In regards to your questions... Why don't you bone-up on what this agreement actually was before asking me to do your homework, first?

I find it very peculiar that a man who goes on and on about "MAGA" wants to remove us from leadership positions on vital global initiatives.

It comes off as surrender to me, and as a proud American I have some serious issues with that approach.

16. "He made a one sided case"...BS! He asked a question & the Miami mayor dodged/deflected away.

Maybe YOU can explain how the US reducing its green house gas emissions 26% AND sending $billions to China (exempt from reducing green house gas emissions for decades & running a roughly $600B trade SURPLUS with the US) to "help" it go "green", makes any sense to YOU ??

33. I suppose you don't have any choice but to say that, aside from being intellectually honest.

The mayor was asked the first question, which was a legit question, 3 times and refused to answer.

'How will this specific agreement sending 3 billion dollars a year to countries like india and china, who don't have to lower their emissions rates, fix the global warming problem in Miami beach?'

The only thing one sided about that was the mayors refusal to answer the question.

He didn't even attempt to answer. He went into full talking point mode.

If there was a one sided case there, it was because der mayor either wouldn't or couldn't make the case.

I suspect it was the latter.

"Tell me how that specific agreement and the financial agreements in it help the problems you describe"

His very first response is to LIE through his teeth:

"First of all I'm not the guy from the left".

And he just looks worse and worse from that point forward.

"Why don't you tell me, why allowing china to take a pass on reducing its greenhouse emissions for years is going to reduce global warming and its effects?"

No attempt to answer the questions that were asked of him, just full talking points and fillibustering for time.

To which tucker replies 'Is there a single person watching this show stupid enough to be convinced by what you are saying?

And he is right.

You can say he made a one sided case, but the reality is, his opponent was under no restriction of argument in responding.

He simply wouldn't or couldn't answer the questions that were asked of him, and THAT is what made it one sided.

And your response to it all is to portray it as something other than what it was.

and then Tucker pointed out that in this accord China and India don't have to reduce their CO2 emissions for many years to come and the mayor just kept on ignoring it lol

who received his talking points and would not deviate from them. It was all emotionality and hyperbole. He would not answer a factual question.

I have seen this same behavior for the last twenty four hours all over these forums!
