Trump Wins By Becoming The Fastest President Ever To Be Criminally Investigated

Trump is making history http://www.politicususa.com/2017/06/18/trump-wins-fastest-president-criminally-investigated.html

Trump promised America that there would be so much winning, but so far the only thing that Trump has won is being the president that has been fastest to be criminally investigated.

Here is the chart from MSNBC’s Ari Melber:

/photo/1

Usually, it takes time for a president to get in trouble. Theoretically, it should take even longer if the president’s party controls Congress. What Trump has accomplished is really incredible. He had managed to get himself criminally investigated before he was in office for five months.

Richard Nixon is the gold standard for presidents under criminal investigation, and he was in office ten times longer than Trump has been before he was criminally investigated. Trump has accomplished a feat that will hopefully never be matched by another president again. Trump has more criminal investigations against him than pieces of major legislation signed.

19. Trump appears to confirm obstruction investigation, attack Rosenstein in morning tweet rant

Meanwhile in the real world where fact matter https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/06/16/trump-appears-to-confirm-obstruction-investigation-attack-rosenstein-in-morning-tweet-rant/?utm_term=.6da910a43796

President Trump fired off tweets Friday morning attacking the special counsel's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, and apparently, Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein.

?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com%2Fnews%2Fpost-politics%2Fwp%2F2017%2F06%2F16%2Ftrump-appears-to-confirm-obstruction-investigation-attack-rosenstein-in-morning-tweet-rant%2F

“I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt,” the president said on Twitter.

The somewhat vague tweet seems to refer to Rosenstein, who wrote a memo outlining an argument against then-FBI director James B. Comey. The White House initially claimed that Rosenstein's memo contributed to Trump's decision to fire Comey. But later, Trump said in an interview that he would have fired Comey “regardless” of Rosenstein's recommendation.

Adding to the confusion is the fact that the special investigation is currently being led by another former FBI director. Robert Mueller reports to Rosenstein, but is authorized to pursue the investigation independently. And there is no evidence that Mueller recommended to Trump that he fire Comey.

5. What is Trump being "criminally investigated" for?

Cite official government sources and statements.

(Hillary was being criminally investigated by The FBI long before she would've even had the chance to take office.)

30. At height of Russia tensions, Trump campaign chairman Manafort met with business associate from Ukra

At the time that he was the chair of the Trump campaign, Manafort met with a russian agent. This is what is called collusion https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/at-height-of-russia-tensions-trump-campaign-chairman-manafort-met-with-business-associate-from-ukraine/2017/06/18/6ab8485c-4c5d-11e7-a186-60c031eab644_story.html?utm_term=.a9aa0f68813a

In August, as tension mounted over Russia’s role in the U.S. presidential race, Donald Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, sat down to dinner with a business associate from Ukraine who once served in the Russian army.

Konstantin Kilimnik, who learned English at a military school that some experts consider a training ground for Russian spies, had helped run the Ukraine office for Manafort’s international political consulting practice for 10 years.

At the Grand Havana Room, one of New York City’s most exclusive cigar bars, the longtime acquaintances “talked about bills unpaid by our clients, about overall situation in Ukraine . . . and about the current news,” including the presidential campaign, according to a statement provided by Kilimnik, offering his most detailed account of his interactions with the former Trump adviser.

Kilimnik, who provided a written statement to The Washington Post through Manafort’s attorney, said the previously unreported dinner was one of two meetings he had with Manafort on visits to the United States during Manafort’s five months working for Trump. The first encounter was in early May 2016, about two weeks before the Trump adviser was elevated to campaign chairman.

29. More fake news. Trump is not under investigation.

Just ask the writer of the WAPO piece.

"The Washington Post reported earlier this week that Mueller has expanded his probe to include the president’s conduct and has arranged interviews with senior administration officials to assess the nature of their own communications with Trump regarding the Russia investigation. Thomas’ reporting confirms those interview will take place, though he cautions Mueller has not yet decided to conduct a full-scale investigation and describes this stage of this inquiry as “preliminary.”"

44. FBI Has Questioned Trump Adviser at Length

Carter Page is an idiot https://politicalwire.com/2017/06/26/fbi-questioned-trump-adviser-length/

“FBI agents have repeatedly questioned former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page about his contacts with Russians and his interactions with the Trump campaign,” the Washington Post reports.

“Over a series of five meetings in March, totaling about 10 hours of questioning, Page repeatedly denied wrongdoing when asked about allegations that he may have acted as a kind of go-between for Russia and the Trump campaign.”

“Because it is against the law for an individual to lie to FBI agents about a material issue under investigation, many lawyers recommend their clients not sit for interviews with the bureau without a lawyer present. Page said he spoke without a lawyer and wasn’t concerned about the risks because he told the truth.”
