Re this closed thread:

the OP (since deleted) linked to the nation.com and said the following which I quoted in my response.

1. Soooo, The Nation.com is promoting murder instead of protest?

quote:
---------------------------------------------------------------
the commitment of occupy wall st to peaceful protest was inappropriate
in retrospect we should have thrown these bankers from their penthouse windows far to the street below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

is this something you agree with?
******************************************************************************************

And then you said,
*********************************************************************************
rampartb (9,105 posts)
3. note that that is not in quotes

at the time i was committed to non violence.
*************************************************************************************
You have since deleted the OP but now I am still wondering, if that is not a quote from the article...are you still committed to non violence? are these your words or someone else? Do you agree with the quote?

am I reading this wrong? Talk to me, please

1. Ever heard of PMs?

If you want to talk to him, talk to him--
but there's no need for you to clutter the board
with your personal inquiries---

nor with your efforts to troll someone into posting something that might be hide-worthy
(as "hide-worthy" goes on this board)

4. i am committed to non violence but ...

the abuses committed upon the working class by these self proclaimed "masters of the universe" are rather egregious.

at some point replacement of the bull statue ("BS") with a functional guilletine is inevitable.

"If you pay taxes in a municipality where JPMorgan spun its trickery, you helped pick up the tab. The bank’s shell game prevented municipalities from knowing who actually owned distressed properties and could be held legally liable for maintaining them and paying property taxes. As a result, abandoned properties deteriorated further, spreading urban blight and impeding economic recovery. “Who’s going to pay for the demolition or police presence?” asks Brent Tantillo, Schneider’s lawyer. “As a taxpayer, it’s you.”

6. the owner of property pays taxes

if a property is forclosed the owner is the bank. if they do not want to pay taxes and maintenance they should work with the borrower.
