1. ROFL. perfectly reasonable explanation as to why he might have dated young women in their late teens

when he was in his early thirties.

yes, the reason is that he was a ephebophile; ie. a fuckin perv.

someone in their thirties dating teens is a fuckin creep, dude, period.

2. That was your take away?!

The point of the article is that an actual person associated with Moore for decades attests that he is NOT a perv or a fucking creep. And if the word of a then 14 years old now 54 is good enough for an indictment then the word of an adult who has known him the entire time is better for a reprieve.

Creepy is not always illegal, and that is what really matters. Two women out of the five attest to something potentially illegal and one is being shown to be a liar so the other one needs to be further investigated as well.

If he did something illegal, fine, finish an investigation and remove him from the Senate. But if he did not, then this is just a witch hunt to discredit and delegitimization an opponent.

The irony for me is that I never really cared for the man. He is a bit too fundy in his religiosity for me. But I don't like seeing someone railroaded based on lies if in fact they are lies or just a ratfuck. I used to respect Sanders. I think he was a lying sheep dog now. He still got ratrfucked and railroaded by the Clinton Machine and should never trust them again. Nor should anyone who voted for him. This is the same principle.

3. And we have associates of Biden saying that they could not leave their wives or daughters with him

I do think that this is all a politically motivated witch hunt that has actually hurt Moore in the Election if the polls are to be believed. He is no longer double digits, but 6 to 9 points on average from those that got that last election correct.

5. BFD

My sister never saw anything either when her husband was busy molesting little girls right in their home.

He plead guilty, got a four month jail sentence, moved himself and his family out of state where he got busy molesting his own small daughter who, in her teens, tried committing suicide and confided in another family member the things he had done to her...all very similar, BTW, to things he had done to the other little girls, and there was no way she could have known any of it because nobody ever said a word to her. He also molested her younger sister. All while their mother, my sister, was right there in the home, apparently not seeing any of it.

So, just because nobody sees it, that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

6. The problem is

just because someone claims it doesn't mean it did happen either. That though is the narrative being pushed. You will be hard pressed to find people who say that he should be forgiven if he did attempt to rape or molest someone. But declaring someone guilty without even an investigation more or supporting evidence is simply a witch hunt. In this case one being ran for political expediency.

7. Equally, just because somebody says it

that doesn't mean it did happen.

Witch hunts are like that. And when it is used politically, it devalues actual rape, harassment, and abuse. There have been enough fakes now on a grand public scale to question them. Additionally, we have Hollywood covering for abuses of their own, and last year's presidential candidate covering for her abusive husband.

When all news becomes fake news and propaganda, which news is real and truthful? How will we ever know again with shit like this?

8. Why did he say he received the parents permission?

If a 32 year man (and then older and older) came over to my house to ask to go out with a member of my family who was 14

I might have done something that unfortunately the Republicans made fun of Mike Dukakis in 1988 for not doing
in the set-up by rightwing war station CNN..
