After giving this much thought....

It would be better for republicans if Franken stays in the senate. Dims cannot attack Moore as long as Franken is around.

If Franken resigns, he will be replaced by another liberal dim so that's a wash. Better for out side if he does not resign.

2. That's why dems are pushing him to resign. That and to end calls of racism

since Conyers resigned.

As an Indy, and I'll say this just once, the GOP/righties better watch themselves. The dems appear to finally be waking up to the level of outrage the Clintons generated with their blatent criminality and then cheating to get the nom. They appear to maybe, finally be starting to clean up their act by clearing out the rotting wood.

In the meantime, the tone here of late has been shifting into overdrive and a couple things out there appear the same. May be a few trolls here, but leaders out there. Beware of overconfidence and overreach.

5. You noticed. This will hurt the Democrats even more, though.

Tweeden is afraid of going under oath before the Ethics Committee. The meetings between Stone, Hannity and herself in 2009, and the (facts are facts) EXIF data (not the 2006 data, the 2009 Adobe Photoshop timestamp, to split hairs) would go into evidence. (I'm a professional photographer. I know what EXIF data is, and is not. And no hokum about "setting the date". The date was *reset* on the day Franken was sworn in in 2009, not 2006, the same day Stone, Hannity and Tweeden tucked it away for a rainy day.) If Franken resigns, people will roast over this. If he stays, you are correct: you will still have him to kick around.

6. The voters should make these decisions, not Pols. There is a danger that this is turning into

a destructive tsunami, rather than a needed, cultural sea change.

7. This is why I've risked alienating all my friends on the left by defending Roy Moore.

Welcome to the Salem Witch Trials.

9. I think everyone pretty much agrees on principle.

However, disgusting and vile communis.. I mean, dimocrats, decided this was an acceptable move.
The only way to get them in check is to apply their own dynamically changing rules to them. You wanna play character assassination? Ok then. game on.
The issue is, they will never learn. They are dirty.. and willing to accept any win regardless of the vehicle used to achieve it. Look no further than the denial of Obama's bureaucratic abuses for political purposes.
Enter Trump.
He's here because the masses are sick of it. The high road leads to a cliff, politically speaking. It never works.
So there is but one option: play the game using their rules.
Trump doesn't even hesitate to jump in the mud with the pigs, and that is why he's now in charge. Enough is enough.
Nobody wanted to, but here we are.

8. Some have been saying that for weeks.

Yesterday, the senate Dems agreed.

Today, you figured it out. Good job.

10. Just keep Moore in and don't worry about the accusations of being a pedophile.
