2. What if drug abuse is the primary cause of these shootings?

We as gun owners have a right to know and In my opinion they already know the answer.

5. It is high time for a serious discussion

As to why these people do what they do, we as gun owners and the people who are affected by these shootings have a right to know if these drugs are causing the problem, and in my mind all involved have an absolute right to know the answer.

16. +1

"the people who are affected by these shootings have a right to know if these drugs are causing the problem, and in my mind all involved have an absolute right to know the answer."

We live in a drugged up nation and it's not cannabis or cocaine that people have to worry about, it's the real drugs that are warping minds

And a perfect example of why you can never willingly give the government power. They will abuse it and never give it up.

11. The shooters were mentally ill, meds did not cause that.

In most cases it was reported that the shooter wasn't taking the prescribed drugs.

12. False- over 6,000 cases give more detail

Remember: These drugs COME WITH A MANDATORY WARNING that says violent behavior and thoughts are a SIDE EFFECT

https://ssristories.org/

SSRI Stories is a collection of over 6,000 stories that have appeared in the media (newspapers, TV, scientific journals) in which prescription drugs were mentioned and in which the drugs may be linked to a variety of adverse outcomes including violence.

This updated site includes the stories from the previous site and new ones from 2011 to date. We have used a new “category” classification system on the new stories. We are working back through previously SSRI Stories to bring them into the new classification system. In the meantime use the search box in the upper right column to search through both the old and the new stories.

SSRI Stories focuses primarily on problems caused by selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), of which Prozac (fluoxetine) was the first. For more see About SSRIs. Other medications prescribed as antidepressants that fit the “nightmares” theme of the collected stories are sometimes included.

SSRIstories is dedicated to posting news articles about antidepressant problems. Many of us have long suspected that many suicides and homicides in the news are medication-induced even though medication is never mentioned, and where no contributory role is suspected by officialdom. There is a U.K. organization called Hundredfamilies (http://www.hundredfamilies.org/ ). It is concerned about homicides committed by people who are mentally ill, and wants the government to do more to prevent these deaths. In fact, the NHS often does review or investigate such cases, where a perpetrator was receiving mental health care from them. These independent reviews offer a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes...more: https://ssristories.org/

Stories by drug (prozac for example: https://ssristories.org/category/drug/prozac-fluoxetine/ )
