Response to TM999 (Original post)

1. What an incoherent rambler. He could have said what he had to say in 15 mins

Brian of London and his 3.9K followers on YouTube! I can see why as he’s unprepared, references people and events that he partially recalls, and is vague or ill informed on others.

HOWEVER, he does the world a service by showing that Little Stevie is in jail on sound legal grounds. He relates the Canterbury case ending with the judge suspending Stevie’s sentence and telling him that if he does this again, he’s immedietely off to jail. The judge then queries, “Do you understand?” While Brian of London doesn’t inform us of Stevie’s answer presumably it was “yes” as if it were “no” he would have ended up serving the three months.

So Little Stevie understood and went out and did the same thing again. Done. Bye, bye Little Stevie.

3. Coldy is just a good little German,

oops I mean ex-pat American in the UK who relies solely on emotionalism, ad hominems, and fails to grasp that the situation is not about the man but the lack of free speech and an obviously biased 'legal system' in the current Islamophilic UK.

for the foreseeable future. For us 1984 was cautionary fiction, for the modern UK, it is a fucking users manual.

6. This is so precious!

You mean unlike those YouTube videos you post about religion?

No, he reminds the world what part is Tommy's and what part is not. So you are OK with a 4am raid on a journalist and his family because of an error he attempted to rectify? His actions in Canterbury had zero impact on the case and the defendants were all found guilty of raping children.

In this current case, he was very specific to not call them out by name. He did not mention guilt or innocence. No other journalists have been wiling to even discuss 'easy meat' and the evidence of cover-ups of rapes of non-Muslim children.

Like everything, you read for your own emotional bias and pretend you are logical and objective. It is a fucking joke.

9. To call Little Stevie a journalist is absurd

but granting that point for the moment, Little Stevie was also the founder and former leader of the English Defence League, a group not known for their pacifism and has a documented history of violence. The raid was probably (neither you nor I know for sure) based upon this history of violence.

Despite your opinion Muslim rape gangs do get a lot of play in the press here. Even amazingly Easy Meat is available here on amazon.co.uk.

Finally, the YouTubers I post, such as Logicked, Thunderf00t, etc. all have their facts and spiel set before they record. This guy just seemed to ramble.

10. Of course you find it absurd

because it goes against your obvious bias. And sweetheart, Logicked and Thunderf00t are nobodies when it comes to religion.

The Muslim rape gangs are not discussed as much as they should be. This scandal is as big as the Westminster pedophile dossier. Forty years of easy meat and the outrage is more over some independent journalist's past than what he has actually been reporting on. Guess who was a co-author of Easy Meat.

13. By US standards he qualifies.

There is no licence, ID, training, or certification needed to be considered a journalist in the US. Government agencies stopped issuing press passes years ago. If you have a camera or a notepad, you are a journalist. What is the standard in the UK these days?

I personally find this a clear case of targeted repression. He may be/have been a nogoodnik, but that does not mean he was acting outside the law at this event. That said, the UK legal system has been a bit of a disappointment for me since I was a young adult and was briefed by embassy security not to defend ourselves in the UK, or at least not get caught doing it. Yobs were winning then and are clearying winning now.

14. Well, that's one perspective

How many thugs like Little Stevie have WH Press Passes. Even in the States, there are de facto standards.

As to the injustice of someone violating the terms of his suspended sentence going to jail without an extended process, I’ve addressed that elsewhere.

16. The WH is a special case, administered by the WH Correspondents Association, at least for now.

It is about the only special case out there. There are no de facto or even de jure standards recognized by the courts in the US. Literally anyone can be a journalist by declaring themselves one. It even invokes the shield laws that some states have. What makes one a journalist legally in the UK? Truly curious, given that at least here in the US it does not even qualify as a profession.

Multiple Presidents have considered taking down the WHCA running of the WH press credentials, and IIRC there are one day credentials that the WH press staff can authorize. I half way expected Trump to remove the WHCA monopoly after the last goat rope of a dinner. Some are still hoping he does, just to watch the squeals.

17. Appealing to authority now?

Are you sure you are American? Perhaps you remember all of the local rags from the Colonial period? Ben Franklin's The Pennsylvania Gazette comes to mind.

In our wonderful society, anyone can be a journalist. It is a freedom afforded to us. But I guess you prefer those 'authorities' and jack-booted thugs in the UK more. Truly it speaks volumes!
