1. Where does Trump suggest Germany get their gas from?

I’m under the impression their options are limited.

2. Spoken like a regressive, How about saudi? America?

Or I do not know? How about stopping the bitching about how bad Russia is and how much they need us to protect their stupid ass and then buy fuel from them?

I Swear you regressives are lacking in the grey matter area.

3. What the fuck is wrong with you?!

Seriously. WTF? I ask a simple question and you respond with hostility, false accusations, and insults. It’s all you ever do. Always hateful, always insulting. I hope it satisfies some deep seeded need in your psyche. I’d hate to think you act like this for no reason.

5. Civil Answer....

NATO countries of Western Europe have long benefitted from American presence in Europe. With the US in their backyard, they pay less for their own military and they use that money on their famous social programs.
These same governments are buying commodities from Russia but complaining the United States should remain in Europe to protect NATO allies from Russia. On top of this the Europeans have not paid their NATO fees to the US in years.

So they are essentially acting as free riders while using Russia as asupplier. The loser is the Amerjcan taxpayer.

8. You are always civil GS and I appreciate that.

My question was more of a logistical one though. Is it even possible for Germany to fill its natural gas needs without getting any from Russia? Admittedly, I don’t know a whole lot about the energy supply system in that part of the world.

10. Well...

the Russians have good reserves, but so do the Norwegians. I suggest the russians sell cheaper. Since petroleum is a global commodity, they could by from anywhere really. Their problem is they eliminated their coal and Nuclear plants in Germany which has made them dependent on the easy energy Russia supplies.

The issue at hand is, if the Germans think that Russia may be aggressive, they cant purchase products from them and strengthen them, while not using any money on their own defense.

12. To be fair

it isn't that they shouldn't be buying products its that they have allowed themselves to become so dependent due to the essential and tactical nature of the good being purchased. Which in and of itself wouldn't be a big deal if the entity they have allowed themselves to become dependent upon wasn't also the entity that they are asking for help to protect themselves from. In a nutshell they just put a noose around their own necks handed the end of the rope to Russia and turned to their "friends" in NATO and said hay don't let them pull on that rope.

13. Thanks...

that had been previously discussed. Dont buy candy from a bully if that bully might be the person that later robs you of your candy.

14. Well they can buy candy

but don't buy products that you need. So, maybe its buy all the candy you want from the bully but don't buy bread and milk only or even in significant quantity from the bully.

7. Maybe if you had an ounce of integrity and honesty...

But, you could not even place the blame for NK nukes where it belonged and tried to play regressive word games

You could not even think for a second that maybe Germany could buy from America, or Saudi's. Nope you went to defending them fleecing our country for their defense against a Country that is supposedly so bad for the world, yet they give them billions for energy.

It does not take much more than an IQ of 90 to understand that Germany and Europe are trying to play both ends here. Telling us they need protection from Russia, and telling Russia they need their oil. One does not buy from their tormentors.

4. Saudi Arabia is a far more disreputable country than is Russia.

They are the major backers of Al Qaeda, ISIS and global Islamic terrorism.

6. According to a guest on MSNBC

Trump is lying again Germany is not dependent on Russian gas, they use a lot of renewables. So they are really energy independent.

Sad but true, shut the pipeline down, and see how well their renewables work.
