Review of Salt Lake City

This place understands its faults and half of the folks want to fix them and half doesn't. But overall it is a very livable place where just about anyone can find folks of like mind.

Worst part is the liquor laws, but you simply adapt and and visit NV, WY or CO once in awhile. Hopefully medical MJ becomes legal on the forthcoming election even with the resistance of the LDS.

I talked to about 25 people this week and only a couple were Mormans.

Leave SLC and that would not be the case.

Overall 4.5 stars of 5.

8. You must have been cloistered....

In Salt Lake City, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting two dozen mormons.
If you were talking to people in a bar, you might not talk to mormons. I cant imagine anywhere else where you could talk to any group of people where that group would be majority or close majority mormon.

10. Then you must have found...

a strange outlier bunch. I used to have to go to Salt Lake monthly and I felt like I bumped into a unicorn when I found someone who wanted to have a drink. alcohol or coffee.

14. I dont go their routinely...

but I have been there in the past few months and unless so many tech nerds showed up on the same plane ride with you. I know the city fairly well. I am sure the population has changed somewhat, but not so much that the place isnt crawling with Mormons.

Out of the loop, no, not keen to hyperbole.

15. Yes out of the loop

As SLC grows it has become majority non. LDS. Utah county is the new lds hub.

But, feel as you wish.,.

16. I understand...

non-majority has been there a while now. Like saying I went to Omaha and couldnt find a Catholic. Omaha used to be 85% Catholic. Today it is like 28% Catholics still run everything of importance.
