CNN "Analyst" and ex-CIA spook Phillip Mudd demonstrates how to keep cool under pressure

Unhinged CNN analyst Philip Mudd blows up at Paris Dennard for pointing out the profitability of security clearances, 08/17/2018

CNN counterterrorism analyst Philip Mudd has a well-deserved reputation for being unhinged but on Friday’s Anderson Cooper 360 (with substitute host Jim Sciutto), he went completely berserk to the extent of trying to kick another commentator off the show that wasn’t even his. Before his actual explosion you can see the absolute fury building up in him as political commentator Paris Dennard was making good points as to why security clearances are profitable for those who hold them.

If Mudd’s outburst on steroids is not the top unhinged moment in the media of the year, it definitely has to rank in the top five:.. https://www.sott.net/article/393953-Unhinged-CNN-analyst-Philip-Mudd-blows-up-at-Paris-Dennard-for-pointing-out-the-profitability-of-security-clearances

Here's ex-spook Mudd calling Julian Assange a Pedophile back in February (Was Musk listening?)

Mudd attempts to predict the future---

CNN analyst says deep state is going to assassinate Trump

Enter Phil Mudd, ex-deputy director of the CIA's Counterterrorist Center and the FBI's National Security Branch, who casually said the 'deep state', aka permanent government agents who've been on the job for 20-30 years, would 'kill this guy', referring to the President.

Jake Tapper tried to help Mudd walk back the comments. But as you saw, Mudd meant what he said and had no discernible reason to use those words in that context other than calling for the assassination of the President. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-11/trump-thanks-putin-expelling-750-diplomats-former-cia-official-says-deep-state-will-

From Mudd’s CNN bio page:

Philip Mudd is a CNN counterterrorism analyst. Mudd joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1985 as an analyst specializing in South Asia and then the Middle East. He began work in the CIA’s Counterterrorist Center in 1992 and then served on the National Intelligence Council as the Deputy National Intelligence Officer for the Near East and South Asia (1995-1998). After a tour as an executive assistant in the front office of the CIA’s analytic arm, Mudd went on to manage Iraq analysis at the CIA (1999 to 2001).

Mudd began a policy assignment at the White House in early 2001, detailed from CIA to serve as the Director for Gulf Affairs on the White House National Security Council. He left after the September 11 attacks for a short assignment as the CIA member of the small diplomatic team that helped piece together a new government for Afghanistan, and he returned to CIA in early 2002 to become second-in-charge of counterterrorism analysis in the National Counterterrorism Center. He was promoted to the position of Deputy Director of the NCTC in 2003 and served there until 2005.

At the establishment of the FBI’s National Security Branch in 2005, FBI Director RobertMueller appointed Mudd to serve as the Branch’s first-ever deputy director. He later became the FBI’s Senior Intelligence Adviser. Mudd resigned from government service in March 2010.< snip>

Mudd is the Director of Enterprise Risk at SouthernSun Asset Management in Memphis, Tennessee. He also is a member of the advisory board of the NCTC, and he serves as a fellow at the New America Foundation and Aspen Institute’s Homeland Security Group.https://www.cnn.com/profiles/philip-mudd-profile

Who could possibly find anything wrong with CNN hiring dignified, statesmanlike ex-spooks to snarl at simple plebs and call whistleblowers "pedophiles"..

1. Trump is a freaking savant. All too often an idiot savant, but a freaking political genius

all the same.

Brennan and Mudd, while well-known to news junkies, pretty much inhabited the MSNBC/CNN/Twitterverse realm of politics. There they are adored by the soy-enriched fan boys of the left and openly mocked by the right. Still, the wider electorate was just unfamiliar with exactly who either of these assholes were.

With a few Tweets and a highly publicized security clearance revocation, Trump has changed all that. And unlike the Obama lackeys, Trump was completely open about how he planned to discredit them. He actually told the media he wanted Brennan to become famous. Now he is doing the same for noted whack-job and 98 pound tough guy, Phill Mudd. Now everyone gets to see the "intelligence community" in all its politicized, fully-agendized glory.

Love the dude or hate him, it was a brilliant move.

2. No fucking shit!

This really made the roaches scurry out from their hiding places, didn't it?

I fucking despise CNN. It is not a news channel at all, not anymore. The pundit talking head was totally biased towards Mudd and purposefully conflated terms, provided misdirection, and obviously had set up the questions previously with Mudd and not Paris. It was infuriating me just to watch this asshole. You have to be a fucking weak-minded fool to believe any thing these assholes peddle on this network?!

3. Like I said on here last week,Trump is crazy like a fox.

He does something that gets the left in a hair on fire rampage that they don`t even realize exposes who they are.
Then the swamp gets drained some more.

5. Can anyone honestly say a normal person would look at that clip of 98 pound rage boy Phil

Mudd and say that over-compensating asshole should be anywhere near an intelligence agency?

Of course not. And for the 99% of the American electorate who do not watch CNN, they would know nothing about how unhinged Mudd is. Same with Brennan .Why do you think Clapper is backing away from Brennan as fast as he can?

Because now people know.

7. Dennard never got a chance to make his point and that's Mudd's appearance all over TV wouldn't

be as likely if he didn't have an active security clearance, and even if networks DID have him on, he wouldn't be paid as much of an appearance fee.

It wasn't hard to see which side Sciutto comes down on. If Mudd were a conservative or Republican, Sciutto would have cut him off at the very beginning of his aggressive rant.

8. Given Mudds many other jobs as well, I will bet

He makes more money for having clearance than he would if he did not, and he knows he lied in that rant.

I lived through the JFK assassination and I hope nothing like that ever happens again.
