The real reasons Kavanaugh should be rejected

3 Constitutional Reasons Why Kavanaugh Should Not Be On Supreme Court

The circus that has surrounded the Bret Kavanaugh nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court has been drowned out by 36 year old, uncorroborated accusations of sexual harassment.

But the truth is that Kavanaugh's record demonstrates that he is not a constitutionalist and has acted as an enemy to the 4th and 5th Amendments.

One of the most egregious acts perpetrated against the American people was the PATRIOT Act. And one of its greatest supporters was Brett Kavanaugh.

According to the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), which filed a Freedom of Information Act Request for Kavanaugh’s official government correspondence records from this era, the Supreme Court Justice nominee referred to the PATRIOT Act as a "measured, careful, responsible, and constitutional approach” in an email sent to a colleague.

Anyone who knows anything about the PATRIOT Act knows that “constitutional” and “careful” are by no means accurate descriptions. The PATRIOT Act obliterated the Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights to privacy and due process by giving the federal government sweeping new powers to conduct surveillance on the American people.

But his support of the legislation that signaled the downfall of American rule of law does not simply end with his favorable comments. Kavanaugh was also one of the individuals tasked with its drafting...https://fee.org/articles/the-constitutional-reasons-to-oppose-kavanaugh-for-the-supreme-court/

2. Not as black and white as that YouTube portrays

To start with, when serving as White House counsel he is acting on behalf of The White House, not issuing judicial opinions. There's a BIG difference between those two roles.

And here's a good article that discusses his actual 4A opinions as a judge with much more detail than that little YouTube snippet:

With respect to the metadata he was following Supreme Court precedent, which is exactly what lower court judges are supposed to do.

Forget that these incentives are directly responsible for the decline and soon utter destruction of OPEC and their long held stranglehold on the US economy... well hell, the GLOBAL economy for that matter.

10. Hey, Aquila, how come you didn't respond to my prior post?

If you REALLY care about the 4A then let's discuss BK's actual 4A related opinions as a judge.

Cite cases he ruled on and let's review them. OK?
