Do people the FBI called "extremely careless with classified info" still have a security clearance?

And if so, why?

2. I worked for 34 years....

as a defense contractor and held various levels of clearance over that time. If I had done what she did, here is what would have happened:

1. I would have been fired for using personal e-mail for official company business since the company would have had no visibility or oversight on what I was saying to customers.

2. I would have lost my clearance.

3. I would be serving time in a federal penitentiary for mishandling classified information. And no, intent wouldn't have factored into it. Mishandling classified information is illegal. Period.

There is no doubt that those three things would have happened to me. Knowing that, I can hardly stand to look at the woman today.
