Opinion: Will President Trump force a Constituional crisis to gain his re-election?

Opinion: 11-7-2018

President Trump and House Democrats will not cooperate. Trump will fire Mueller (or something) to force a Constitutional crisis and his own impeachment. Having to respond, House Democrats will be forced to impeach while Senate Republicans side with Trump.

President Trump then runs as the victim of vengeful Democrats in 2020 taking no responsibility for the turmoil, grid-lock and bad economy he creates.

Possible?

Will President Trump force a Constitutional crisis to gain his re-election?

10. What consequences?

The Democrats can't pass any legislation without the Senate which is solidly GOP and not compromising with extremists.

The Democrats can investigate but they just look the fools to the electorate and they can't impeach anyone without the Senate which is solidly GOP and not going to bow to their extremism.

The Democrats have no control over the judiciary whatsoever now. We no longer are held hostage by red state Democrats or Collins & Murkowski. All of the cabinet and judicial appointees are going to be confirmed easy peasy.

So please, please, remind us again of all the 'consequences' that are coming from your team.

7. Firing Mueller does not a Constitutional crisis make.

Mueller works for Trump. Democrats make up sh!t like this to try and manipulate the President.
It would have worked with Bush, but not with Trump.

The Drama Queen charge is right.

9. "Taking no responsibility for the turmoil"

Obama era Intel agency's with foreign help had at least 2 spies trying to set up and gather dirt on Trump before and after the election. If they had ANYTHING AT ALL, they would have played that hand before or soon after the inauguration. Their allies in the media ran damage control with a little help from some bitter establishment repubs and have created this turmoil you speak of.

11. I don't think he'll run for re-election at all. I'm also not clear where the constitutional crisis

is? Trump could fire Mueller if he wanted to via the AG, if he were so inclined. He hasn't done that. The house, now under the democrats control, can impeach him whenever they want. The senate can convict or acquit him if they want. Where's the "crisis"?
