1. Even though it is overused we can see why the NPC meme has a basis in truth.

6. This was frivolously alerted on.

I checked the rules, including the fine print; there's nothing in them against speaking the truth on this message board.

8. They're not in the least appalled.

Any opportunity to hate POTUS is what they look for. I don't get that. I can't think of a POTUS I actually hated although there are plenty I disliked for one reason or another. Trump doesn't make them hate, he only provides a justification in their petty minds to do so. Hate is basically all the Democratic Party is based on now.

10. They still hate Christians, they're just hoping if they make enough noise

they'll drive a wedge between Trump and the Christians.

In another day they'll be back to bleating about their Dominionist bogeyman.

11. That won't happen.

I held my nose and voted Trump! The alternative was far worse!

As lon as the DNC puts up candidates like Kerry, Obama, Hillary et. al., christians will vote Republican unless the GOp puts up just as vulgar a candidate like the Dems do.

Our votes for along time has always been the lesser of two evils.

18. Try educating yourself instead of spewing ignorant things.

I am a Baptist and would never participate in a Catholic ritual.
That is not disrespectful it is a matter of belief and I would not expect a Catholic to participate in a Protestant one either.

Too bad hatred blocks any chance of understanding things for so many people.

And I didn't vote for him based on Christianity.

13. Perhaps he is

A Baptist, that's an entire denomination that doesn't recite the creed, or any other creeds that I can think of for that matter. Or maybe he is simply not particularly devout in which case reciting a creed that includes a callout to the catholic church would be entirely inappropriate.

15. He claims to be Presbyterian.

And the word "catholic" in the creed is about the body of the church, not the Roman Catholic faith.

16. Wouldn't that still be

Just as problematic as the relationship is individual to God not individual to church?

You are correct though about word usage, I had one thing in mind and typed the other out of habit. Lower case denotes the not proper name definition but we use that term as proper name so often it's ingrained.

17. I don't think it's problematic. It has to do with the universality of the Christian faith.

I wouldn't expect Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, or whatever to recite the creed though, as it's pretty specific to Christian belief .

19. You prove your ignorance too.

As one raised in a fundamentalist Baptist church we would never have participated in a Catholic ritual.

20. Well, it's not a Catholic ritual per se, though Catholics recite the creed, as do some Baptists.

Being non-liturgical, it's not surprising that some Baptists never recite it.

21. So this entire manufactured poutrage is just idiotic.

If I was there I would not have recited it either but rather stood there respectfully.

26. Who cares?

Maybe never was a thing in a local church he went to.
The fact is you have no idea one way or the other so this entire stupidity is fabricated bullshit.

Add to that the fact that the far left base has nothing but spit flinging hatred for any Christian based religion it is utter hypocrisy.

22. The assumption there

Being that church is neccessary for Christian faith, that is hardly the case. You entirely capable of being Christian with no connection to the rest of the faithful. This is how many of the less devout who yet still believe have a relationship with God but little if any relationship with the church.

23. I don't claim he's a church-going man of faith, he did.

Though the church he claimed said he wasn't an active member.

Anyway, the main thing was the difference between catholic and Catholic in reference to the creed.
