How much should the Democrats raise taxes to improve the economy?

Seeing as they claim Trump is ruining the economy and all he did was cut taxes and regulations it stands to reason they believe taxes are too low.

What should be the top marginal corporate tax rate?

4. Trick question

Democrats don't have the power to raise or lower taxes. For the next two years anything that happens with taxes will be via a congressional conference committee negotiation also involving the Trump Administration.

5. Constitutionality, all tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives.

You were all elated about winning the House until this thread.

8. I'm still elated I want Trump to have to negotiate everything with Pelosi

But people who have passed a seventh grade civics class understand that the actions of one House Of Congress cannot make law.
Then there's you.

10. Your tax bill will be stripped bare in the Senate and then redone as a border wall funding one.

11. He doesn't have to negotiate anything.

If he doesn't like it, it will most likely die in the Senate. Stalemate gives him a victory in 2020.
