De Blasio Says Wealth Is in the Wrong Hands and Vows to Redistribute It

A new ferry route will link Staten Island to the West Side of Manhattan. New Yorkers who don’t get paid vacation will soon have two weeks.

And wealth in the city will be more evenly distributed.

Those are some of the promises Mayor Bill de Blasio made in an hourlong State of the City speech on Thursday, his sixth since taking office and one that clearly articulated his view of how he has changed New York City as he prepares to embark on a national tour to trumpet his accomplishments and proposals.

“Here’s the truth, brothers and sisters, there’s plenty of money in the world. Plenty of money in this city,” the mayor said, flanked by screens with graphs of productivity outpacing compensation. “It’s just in the wrong hands!”

1. The city is already coming closer to resembling the city under

Beame and Koch than Giuliani. He's giving it back to the thugs and crooks. He will also drive out many of the wealthy once he starts taking more and more and more.

5. Their problem wont be when the conservatives leave, it will be when the wealthy liberals leave.

They’ll figure it out when they have trouble getting big money donors for their campaigns.

6. De Blasio makes one major mistake: The wealthy are mobile - they can move their wealth away.

8. Ask Sweden about the ABBA maneuver.

Threatened with a high tax intended to target them, they took their ball and left.

9. Heck rich libs would do well to move out.

Of course the Real Distribution is going to be from middle class Americans to illegals, layabouts and the NYC Komenclatura.

10. Rush did this

At the time he was making $450 million a year? He left and NYC was so pissed they kept coming after him for several years because they needed the money!

All the rich will leave then he can redistribute beans and rice and not money. This is very fair, is it not?
