1. It's a good plan.

Druggies leave less needles on the streets fi they're shooting up in public housing.

17. I specified public housing

Let the taxpayers foot the bill. They deserve it for electing DeBlasio.

3. I should alert on this

For pulling my words without attribution.

For the nothing it's worth - DeBlasio is wrong on this one. Being a horrible landlord is subjective and certainly doesn't warrant seizure of property - at least in 99.9999% of cases.

4. I don't believe America is a "democracy."

It's a Republic.

9. That's from the pledge of allegiance

Which was an advertising slogan just like "Milk, it does a body good".

The Bolivarian REPUBLIC of Venezuela

13. I think you mean a DIRECT Democracy

The U.S. is about as true a model of representative democracy as you can find. We even have some examples of direct democracy. Any state that has initiative and referendum operates partially as a direct democracy where the voters can pass law or amend the state constitution without going through elected representatives.

"Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man." Ronald Reagan
https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/ronald_reagan_387305

"Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."--Sir Winston Churchill
