7. That appears to have been done with a cutting torch or welder

I don't have one of those, do you?

Anything made my man can be broken by made. It becomes a cost trade at some point.

11. Via a Freedom of Information Act request

"An internal February 2018 U.S. Customs and Border Protection report—a redacted version of which was first obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by (San Diego Public Television station) KPBS—described a test run by the Department of Homeland Security in late 2017, in which D.H.S. employees were challenged to breach all eight border-barrier prototypes, both concrete and steel, with anything they had on hand. Per the report, all eight prototypes failed the test, with the steel-slat design favored by the president falling prey to a common saw."

...with tools that are readily available at Home Depot, Harbor Freight Tools, Walmart, etc.

5. So?

We start using titanium then.

Or we place guard towers every 50 feet.

NO MORE ILLEGALS.

8. Half the illegals arrive legally on a visa

As tourists, students or legal workers. They come by plane, car and boat at any of our 328 official U.S. Ports of Entry. They just don't leave when they're supposed to. We average about 132 million non-immigrant arrivals every year so its hard to stop them all.

10. wha'ts your fucking point? That you want to crack down and cut the Visa system first?

Because I'm all in for that too, it comes after the wall is built.

14. There will be no new 1,954 mile long wall

There will be some new wall where that can work and there will be more improved fencing. It would take many years to build a 1,954 mile long new wall.

So putting financial resources to cracking down on the millions of visa overstayers is money well spent. I'm for GPS tracking being built in to every Visa issued.

16. you didn't answer my question.

all lefty does is pee down his leg and screech about all the reasons he should resist Trump.
For some reason, you have it locked in your skull that 2 things can't ever happen, why is that?
As I said before... you're probably one of those whos boat starts sinking and you start screeching at everyone to stop plugging holes and bail faster, arent you?

"DONT PLUG THAT HOLE! BECAUSE THERES ANOTHER ONE OVER THERE!"

Like Jim Acosta proved today, where good barriers exist, there isn't a problem.

25. Donald Trump Quote

Aug. 25, 2015
Reporter: How are you going to build a 1,900-mile wall?

Trump: Very easy. I’m a builder. That’s easy. I build buildings that are — can I tell you what’s more complicated? What’s more complicated is building a building that’s 95 stories tall. O.K.?
— News conference in Dubuque, Iowa
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/08/25/trump_vs_jorge_ramos_on_birthright_citizenship_wall_building_a_building_thats_95_stories_tall_more_difficult.html

I think there are still Trump supporters who are expecting and wanting a brand new, high and thick 1,900 mile wall.

And DHS is cracking down on them too.

It's a pain to precision mill or drill, but cutting it roughly is trivial.

27. Without noise?

The entire point of a wall, or at least the MAJOR point, is to give CBP more time to react to illegals simply walking across an undefended border.

35. Exactly.

Hence the reason for devices and personnel, in addition to a physical barrier.

The wall will give personnel more time to get there.

33. I'll still go with the Freedom of Information Act Request

"An internal February 2018 U.S. Customs and Border Protection report—a redacted version of which was first obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by (San Diego Public Television station) KPBS—described a test run by the Department of Homeland Security in late 2017, in which D.H.S. employees were challenged to breach all eight border-barrier prototypes, both concrete and steel, with anything they had on hand. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/01/border-fence-cut-through-with-saw-donald-trump
It seems not all Rightys are pleased with the steel option:
"The steel slat barrier is a piece of junk! In DHS testing, they were able to cut through it with a basic household saw

No wonder the Democrats want it

To stop the invasion, President Trump needs to build a concrete wall like the one Israel has"
