More RW lies debunked.

The RW claimed the arrest of Roger Stone was more forceful than the capture of Bin Laden. They claimed great brutality took place. Now we have video from Stone's own home surveillance cameras. While there were other agents in the background, there were only two agents close to the door. When Stone steps out he's captured without any kind of tackle or force. Stone is later escorted away by a single agent. No brutality on the video at all.

1. Was the claim that there were more people present, or more force used?

"a 29-member SWAT team in full tactical gear with assault weapons... 17 vehicles including two armored vehicles, a helicopter overhead..."

Yeah. Debunked my ass.

I'll check back in the morning.

Thanks in advance.

21. Both are false.

“To storm my house with greater force than was used to take down bin Laden or El Chapo or Pablo Escobar, to terrorize my wife and my dogs, it’s unconscionable,” Stone said.

The RW whined about the arrest for about a week.

42. It was an important comparison.

Since you want it your way though, I'll give you this. The raid on Bin Laden had about 2 dozen raiders. The number that could be sent had to be limited because they had to go into Pakistan covertly. CNN put the number in the Stone raid at one dozen. So by that measure, the Bin Laden raid was twice the size.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Osama_bin_Laden

I posted a video of the Stone raid. Here's a video of the El Chapo raid.

Even if the figures you cite, from a source that has lied about why they were there,is accurate it still shows the use of force way out of proportion.

Face it,you fucked up with this thread.

12. One reason is the public statements he's made and the people he attached himself to

He's made Statements about "not going down without a fight" "Prepare to die" to a witness, etc.
Threatening a witness is taken seriously.
All these things make law enforcement over react on the side of safety.

Now, sure, maybe they could've told his lawyer "bring him in"

On the other hand, pointing out that one individual doesn't constitute a 'wing' isn't splitting hairs.

If it is, then the LW shot up republican baseball practice, and pointing out that James hodgkinson is an individual is 'splitting hairs'.

I heard it on the Chris Plant radio show, who comes on before Limbaugh. I heard Hannity say it. I've heard the same talking point used by many
Just like during the shutdown all of a sudden every democrat with a camera in their face started calling it "taking workers hostage".

That which can be asserted without evidence, can and will be dismissed likewise.

It is the burden of the asserter to prove their assertions or not.

Not anyone else.

Thats how debate works.

“The footage depicts what you’d anticipate if the FBI raided the house of a Mexican drug lord, possibly even SEAL Team 6 going into bin Laden’s compound,” Carlson mentioned.

"The footage depicts what you'd anticipate if" is not the same thing as saying the footage was an actual depiction of "more force than was necessary for the capture of Bin Laden."

You just can't help but lie can you? You twisted actual quotes into what you want them to say not what they actually do say.

46. Yep:

Carlson called Stone’s arrest “shocking” and characterized it as over-the-top.
Stone has also compared his arrest to that of "bin Laden or El Chapo or Pablo Escobar," according to The Washington Post. Former law enforcement agents have disputed the characterization, calling the arrest textbook.

The force was entirely disproportionate to the situation.
