White House Working To Reassure Evangelicals On Middle East Peace Plan

Ahead of the launch of President Trump's Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, the White House has been engaging with Evangelical leaders to reassure them about the plan.

Why it matters: Evangelicals are a crucial part of Trump's political base and senior officials in his administration, like Vice President Pence and Secretary of State Pompeo, are Evangelicals. Most U.S. Evangelicals are strong supporters of Israel, and many Evangelical leaders are stanch allies of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

On Thursday a group of Evangelical leaders arrived at the White House for a briefing with Trump's Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt.

Among those present were Pastor John Hagee, Pastor Jentezen Franklin, Pastor Paula White and others. Although the meeting was off-the-record many of the attendees tweeted about it.
A source who attended the meeting said that several of the Evangelical leaders raised concerns about the peace plan, especially about the possibility it will give the Palestinians a capital in parts of East Jerusalem.

1. "Don't worry, fake Christian warmongers...

...we won't let the threat of peace interfere with your defense contractor stocks or your heretical Armageddon fantasies."

2. I am curious!

Why do democrats talk about Christians being an important part of the GOP base like it is a dirty word?

We run soup kitchens, homeless shelters, GED courses, crisis pregnancy centers, built hospitals, teach love, tolerance and salvation. Yes we love Israel- that does not mean we turn a blind eye to its sins.

Do you look suspiciously at the Dem base of ethnic minorities and how the Dem party panders top them?

4. Everyday brings the second coming of Jesus one day closer!

as for #2?
The only way Trump can be the antichrist is if he becomes a world ruler among st other biblical requirements.

If Trump does get Israel to sign a peace treaty without the biblical requirements of the antichrist present-he is not the antichrist!

When the son of Satan does make his way on the world scene and signs a 7 year treaty with Israel- the church will be gone, and the the last 7 years of human history before Christ returns will be a time of untold peril and terror for those who are left!

I do not wish that upon any human, but I do wish for Jesus to grab His church off the earth soon!
