BREXIT?

Seems the UK can not get the brexit issue resolved. No brexit, no second referendum.

All and all, it’s probably better if they just stay in and modify the EU to allow for more local control of local issues.

1. They have made a mess out of it. The people voted to leave the EU.

2. That is true

But the people probably did not have the data to make an informed decision. They should revote now that they see the issues in the process and impacts of leaving.

The EU should allow more local control.

11. Keep voting until you get

the desired result, that's an odd version of democracy.

3. How Dare the People vote against what their betters chose for them

Elites are starting to play that game here too

Mainly they do it here by stacking Courts with Whacktivists although Gavin Newsome just dictated the end of CA’s death penalty although the voters want it

7. Thing is, it's a virtual certainly they WOULDN'T vote that way today.

A lot of people in the UK believe they were lied to about the ramifications of Brexit, and every poll I've seen in recent months indicate that "Remain" would win in a landslide if there were a second referrendum.

10. It certainly could be.

I think some of the negative ramifications of Brexit, while absolutely real, HAVE been exaggerated...probably no worse than were the potential benefits, but still exaggerated.

6. We already tried "union of independent states" and "union of somewhat less independent states"

Under the Articles of Confederation and under the Constitution prior to the Civil War.

8. More local control of local issues???

Yet you promote Democrats and liberal politics. You even got excited when Colorado ceded its political power to California by giving its Electoral votes to the popular vote winner.

Not sure you understand what you are talking about.
