1. Read the article

"Currently, there are nearly 38,000 homeless American veterans across the country."
"In all of California, there are nearly 130,000 homeless residents, including nearly 11,000 homeless American Veterans."
"There are more than 1,200 homeless American veterans living in New York state."
"In the state of Massachusetts, alone, there are now more than 20,000 homeless residents, including almost 1,000 homeless American veterans."

The problem of homelessness among vets is one that deserves to be addressed.

2. My suggestion would be

Send Veterans to States that care about them, and send the Illegals to those Cities that welcome them.

3. the va has programs for homeless veterans

https://www.va.gov/homeless/

chronically underfunded, these programs can, and have in some cases have, worked. as in most government programs, there is very little advertising or outreach. the only way to determine if you qualify is by applying. that is my volunteer work, handing out cards with the local contacts at our homeless camps.

the hardest problems i've helped to solve is identification. state id is very difficult without birth certificate. birth certificate depends on county or city but easiest of you have an id. dd214 depends on branch of service but some va social workers will work with us.

what do you think is the reason many homeless do not have id? it is a trick question, but at least think about it.
