Will Trump tweet in outrage that Cohen gets to do his time in a cushy, white collar prison?

Somehow I doubt it—for obvious reasons.

1. Trump loves to stir things up. ...

Predicting what Trump will do is a fool’s game.

At the very least Trump is the most entertaining president in my lifetime. He is often obnoxious but he does get things done. Many of those things he has accomplished have been considered impossible by the experts.

I can live with a president that delivers on his campaign promises when possible even though he at times seems to be picking a fight with everybody in the Washington D.C. Swamp. He is a vast improvement over the “no drama” Obama and a far more honest president than Hillary.

4. All the good economic news is due to Obama.

Trump is simply sitting on two years of a trend that Obama had for seven.

All the bad stuff is Trump. No nutso wall (stupid promise but broken promise). No better, cheaper replacement for Obamacare. No (or very few) jobs in industries emphasized by Trump (coal, steel, auto, Carrier, rural areas)…

And of course, you are using Lou Dobbs as a source.

5. actually that's false.

The Obama economy ran out of steam at the end of Q4-15 and into Q1-16 with near negative GDP numbers... the only reason the economy and market picked up over the summer before the election was the expectation that Clinton AND/OR Trump would be positives for the economy after 2016.

8. Unemployment rate during the Obama presidency

Highest: 10%—October, 2009 (First month of an Obama fiscal year).
Lowest: 4.7%—November, December and January, 2016-2017 (Obama's last three months in office).
https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000

“Six Metrics Show Trump Did Not Inherit A Mess From Obama”
1) Employment numbers continue a positive trend since 2011
2) Unemployment rate also showed a steady improvement
3) Trump best GDP growth hasn’t surpassed Obama’s
4) Trump’s deficits could be double Obama’s
5) S&P 500 doubled under Obama
6) Trade deficit shows the economy improved under Obama

12. Let me repeat myself...

The Obama economy had run out of steam by the end of 2015.

Yes, recovering from a recession always makes stats look good.

Obama was like the Football coach who takes over a team that went 1-15 the prior year and takes them to a 8-8 record in 3 years... that's a 800% increase in Wins!!!

Recessions ALWAYS recover... Obama was just sitting in the chair WHILE it recovered.

But don't lose sight of the fact that Obama papered over the economy with ~$10T in deficit spending.

15. Unemployment Rate

During the Obama administration unemployment went from 10% to 4.7%. That’s 5.3 points lower. During the Trump Administration unemployment has gone from 4.7% to 3.7%. That’s 1 point lower.

To an 8-8 record or go from 8-8 to 16-0?

17. Fiscal year 2016 of the Obama administration

Went from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. That means Obama’s economic policies for nine months and Trump’s for three months. The real GDP for 2017 was 2.47%. That’s hardly “out of steam.”
https://www.multpl.com/us-real-gdp-growth-rate/table/by-year

Annual federal budget deficit by year:
Obama
2009: 1.413 Trillion
2010: 1.294 Trillion
2011: 1.295 Trillion
2012: 1.087 Trillion
2013: 679 Billion
2014: 485 Billion
2015: 438 Billion
2016: 585 Billion
Trump
2017: 665 Billion
2018: 779 Billion
2019 estimate from CBO: 896 Billion
https://www.usgovernmentspending.com/federal_deficit_chart.html
https://www.cbo.gov/publication/55151

Trump will double the deficit this year from Obama’s best year.

6. Obama led the slowest recovery from a recession in history.

Why the ‘Obama Recovery’ Took So Long
The economy should have roared back. Instead it crawled.

Of course the liberal media will do its best to convince people that our current economy is all due to Obama. The liberal media is the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party. You will contend that Fox News is Trump’s propaganda wing.

You get to pick your source of propaganda and I get to pick mine. However the liberal media told me for two years that Trump colluded with Putin to defeat Hillary and the Mueller investigation debunked that. I don’t have much trust in the liberal media at this point.

10. A majority of the American people

Were just happy to have GROWTH at all after the Great Recession. Real GDP for 2008 was -2.75% and for 2009, 0.18%. For 2010 it was 2.57%.

9. As Trump is discovering much to his chagrin

The Federal Reserve takes no direction from presidents and it operates completely independently of presidents.
Trump asked Chairman Powell to lower interest rates; Trump said the economy would take off like a rocket. Powell ignored Trump.

16. The Federal Reserve was in fact the cause of the 2007 recession.

The banks were allowed to run wild with housing speculators in a housing bubble.

Fed Reserve did not supervise properly.

Bush’s guy at the Fed, Ben Bernanke was initially slow to respond to the growing real estate/mortgage crisis but once he did, he did everything he could.

21. I think the most successful economic policies of Obama were the industry bailouts

Obama saved the American banking and automobile industries at a time when if they had been alliwed to fail, millions more Americans would have gone out of work.
“Obama's economic legacy: Big bailouts that worked”
https://www.chicagotribune.com/business/columnists/ct-obama-economy-robert-reed-110-biz-20170109-column.html
The bottom line is we “taxpayers came out ahead. In total, $623 billion in taxpayer money was dispersed via bailouts and roughly $698 billion has come back via dividend revenue, interest, fees and asset sales. It doesn't take a math genius to see the bailouts ultimately earned taxpayers more than $75 billion in profit, and that number is still growing.”

24. So his most successful policies were the banking and auto bailouts?

Let me get this straight, this is Obama’s successful economy, and when asked which of his policies you thought were the biggest contributors to that success, you cited one policy (the auto bailout) that passed congress before he took office, and another policy (the bank bailout) that was passed before he was even elected.

And you’re complaining about TRUMP taking credit for other people’s work?

19. Cohen Certainly Did Turn On Trump.

And if you look at it from his point of view, you can see why.

In Cohen's mind, everything he did, he did out of loyalty to Trump. But when he needed loyalty in return, Trump wasn't there for him.

Paul Manafort.
You can reach him at Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto in Loretto, Pennsylvania (inmate #35207-016). He be there until Dec. 25, 2024, unless he does something naughty.
No Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Chairman has ever gone to prison.
