4. This Machine Gun Merchant Sold Hundreds of Fully Automatic Weapons Last Year

“Frank Goepfert is one of the biggest machine gun merchants in America. From a 100-plus-acre ranch he shares with his wife, son and German shorthair puppy in rural Jasper, Missouri, he runs a small empire of automatic weapons. Inside a tornado-proof vault, dozens of automatic firearms worth millions of dollars hang on the walls. There are Tommy guns, M2 Brownings, Uzis, a Sterling submachine gun and AK-47 assault rifles, the most popular machine gun in the world.”

“Goepfert had carved out a profitable niche—one that would become much more lucrative when he started marketing his guns on the internet.”

7. Never understood why Lefty thinks he's fucking brilliant?

That whole NFA of 1934 must not have been in his law books, the ones with lots of pictures, crayons and pop ups. To miss such a key piece of Constitutional legislation, as a supposedly brilliant law student, is incredible.

In the Illinois state legislature and in the Senate he never did jack shit. Voted "Present" for most of his tenure, while they groomed and pushed him up the hill to the White House.

Not once did I ever hear anything even vaguely smart out of his pie hole, unless he had a teleprompter in front of him with someone else's words on it.

The second he goes off the prompter he stutters, stammers and says truly stupid things.

Of course, these are also the same people that think Hillary is the smartest woman in the world.

Which thoroughly explains why they love him so.

23. However

People with the most education (post graduate degrees) went for Obama 58% to 40% in 2008 and 55% to 42% in 2012.
By your standard those voters should have been the most likely to cast their votes on facts over emotion.

Hillary Clinton got the third most Americans to vote for her and her agenda and Obama’s were similiar.
Presidential Candidates Who Received the Most Votes in U.S. history:
1) Barack Obama: 69,499,428 (2008)
2) Barack Obama: 65,918,507 (2012)
3) Hillary Clinton: 65,853,652 (2016)
4) Donald Trump: 62,985,134 (2016)
5) George W. Bush: 62,034,572 (2004)

So there is that!

30. Since there were only a few thousand fewer folks

Who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 than voted for Obama in 2012, I’d say it was being a Democrat that was what people most wanted to vote for. More than anything, voters were voting against McCain/Palin and Romney/Ryan.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a white guy named Biden gets more votes than both Obama and Clinton.

California is so loaded with stupid that the stupid demographic will almost always win the popular vote. Thank God our founding fathers saw this as a risk and did something to negate it.

31. Only 5 times in American presidential history

Has the winner of the popular vote failed to also win the Electoral vote. Its an anomaly. But knowing that Trump isn’t that popular with the American people has given the Democrats permission to go after him with both barrels blazing every day that he’s in office. When a candidate wins by a landslide, it intimidates the opposition and they back off.

37. Except for when there was an electoral tie in 1800 & 1824

and the House of Representatives decided the election.

Also in 1876, South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana submitted certificates of elections for both presidential candidates. A bipartisan commission of Representatives, Senators, and Supreme Court Justices, reviewed the ballots and awarded all three state’s electoral votes to Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio, who won the presidency by a single electoral vote, decided by the Electoral Commission.

40. You're the one forgetting.

"Jesse Jackson ran for president."

That was before todays nutball far leftist dem party.

"Dr. Ben Carson ran for president, no one was socially shamed into voting for him."

The right does not play the racial shame game like the modern day left does.

"Herman Cain ran for president, no one was socially shamed into voting for him."

No, instead, you bastards kavanaughed the man.

"Cory Booker is running for president. No one is being socially shamed into voting for him."

Identity politics and intersectionality, which are the heart of the dem party now, are designed to shame those who disagree, and to do it along racial lines.

You're talking out your ass because your mouth knows better.

Of the Harvard Law Review

So the assumption has always been, if you achieve that post, you’re brilliant. Some Supreme Court Justices who are Harvard Law Review alumni:
Stephen Breyer, served as articles editor of volume 77
Felix Frankfurter
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, served as editor for one year before transferring to Columbia Law School: 187
Elena Kagan, served as supervising editor of volume 99
John G. Roberts, Jr., served as managing editor for volume 92: 178
Antonin Scalia, served as notes editor for volume 73

15. That isnt a lie, but it is phrased in a deceitful way.

You can buy guns over the Internet. You can pay for them over the intent. You can not, however, have them shipped to you. They have to be shipped to a dealer and you have to go fill out the paper work.

You can buy a machine gun. But you have to go through the extremely long process of being approved and pay for the stamp tax (and the high cost of the gun itself). Edit: and the gun has to be made before 1986.

So he was not technically lying, but he sure as shit phrased it so anyone who doesn’t know would think it a different way. Sneaky fuck.

17. Gun Control Freaks always rely on the (small i) ignorance of people

"If it looks like a machine gun, we can make people think it's a machine gun" - Josh Sugarman

Most people are fairly, (to be polite), uninformed about the 20,000+ existing Federal, State and Local gun laws, or the difference between a semi auto and select fire.

They think supressors actually are like the movies and just go pfffft and 5 bad guys fall down. Or that one shot from a handgun can blow up the gas tank of a fleeing car.

No more than they can tell the difference between a finely fitted, top end custom golf club or an off the shelf driver from WalMart's sporting goods department.

Obama is reinforcing the lie, that it's easy to buy any kind of firearm online.

Just one more example of "honesty" from a guy that won "Liar of the Year" from the WaPo for his lies about Obamacare.

" Anybody can buy any weapon any time..." Is absolutely a lie.

Adding the qualifier "...without much if any regulation..."

It is still a lie.
