3. I'm not finding any where they won re-election with a low approval rating.

But then and again, there's not much material to go on.

In modern times, Eisenhower (1956), Nixon (1972), Carter (1980), Reagan (1984), Bush (1992), Clinton (1996), Bush (2004), Obama (2012), ran for second terms.

At his nadir, Nixon had a rating of 25%, but that was about a year after he'd been re-elected.

At his nadir, Carter had a similar rating of 25%, just before he ran for re-election.

I don't imagine any of the others had significantly low approval ratings.

12. Looks like 41% at this point in his first term.

That puts Trump in the driver's seat considering that the liberal media has most definitely driven his actual approval rating downward.

Correction - on Aug 10, 2011 BO's approval rating was 43.3% according to RCP. And that was with a media that would suck his dick on command.

13. So is this somehow going to become some kind of excuse when Trump is reelected?

What are you going to blame it on next time?

2. Tons of shy Trump voters.

And tons of people will stay home rather than vote for Biden.

5. Democrats know that Trump has a very good chance of winning

It's why many of them want to try impeachment so desparately.

We have the first amendment to ensure we can speak our mind and state our own beliefs.

We have the second amendment to ensure that no one takes the first amendment rights away from us.

That is why the democrats are trying so hard to remove our second amendment rights from us. The can not take over as long as we are armed.

Again I will remind everyone.

Not one of the gun control laws now being discussed will take firearms out of the hands of criminals.

Every one of the gun control laws now being discussed will take firearms out of the hands of upstanding American citizens.

It should be obvious to all that this is exactly what the democrat/socialists/progressives desire as an outcome.
