Take the emotion out of the partisan impeachment

For a minute.

Look at the desperation democrats have at this point. A year away from an election they are throwing out a Hail Mary pass to disrupt it.

There has never been a time in my life where one party was this certain of total defeat.

Trump has accomplished some great things for America and they have nothing to offer anyone.

Democrats have nothing to use against Trump except generating negative emotions in people. They offer nothing positive at all.

1. This crap makes me proud to say that I have never been a democrat.

Sometimes not extremely proud to be a Republican, but I've always believed in the party and it's never completely failed me. The DNC is representing a horrible side of American right now and we can only hope that this will shine a light on the scum that is running it and will be the impetus to tear it down and start over again.

2. ''and they have nothing to offer anyone'' is the key phrase. Democrats have NO ONE worth voting for.

3. Certain of total defeat? Are you pretending that Tuesday was not election day?

5. If your using Tuesday as a guide you need a new crystal ball

Virginia was destined to turn blue, with the number of government workers who depend on the deep state for their paychecks has finally outnumbered the number of Republican voters in the state. Since it went for Cankles in 2016 it's considered a lost cause 2020.

Bevin only lost KY by 4000 votes, he was loathed as a governor and still almost won. A better guide to that states voting 2020 will be using the Attorney General's race in the state, which was won by a Republican by 57% of the vote.

2020 is still the Democrats to lose, and if Warren is the nominee that's likely. Her far left policies will alienate all the swing states in flyover country that the left needs to win a election.

6. Not a guide. It actually just happened. OP said total defeat of democrats.

OP is clearly wrong, given the Tuesday results. Tuesday results do not indicate total defeat (OPs words) of Democrats.

Just trying to inject some facts. Feel free to disregard. LOL

8. If they were not certain of total defeat

They wouldn’t have staged the partisan impeachment. How many times did Nancy say no to impeachment before now? What changed because the current charges are based on opinion not facts.

Democrats can not beat Trump in 2020 with the current people running unless They damage Trump.

Why not let the voters decide next November? Because they know they will lose again to Trump.

9. So, using that logic, Trump must know he cannot beat Biden, thus he is trying to

damage biden.

Why is Trump afraid of letting the voters decide in November?

10. See take the emotion out of it.

Democrats should be demanding an investigation into the actual quid pro quo from Joe . He admitted it and yes his done seems to get very good offers from his father’s connections.

Americans have a right to know if Joe Biden sold his role in government for friends and family don’t they?

Trump is not worried about losing to Biden imho. Biden is his own worst enemy. Biden’s use by date has passed by long ago. He isn’t mentally or physically fit to serve and everyone sees it.

11. ALL presidential impeachments are partisan

In 1868 the radical Republicans really hated Democrat Andrew Johnson.
In 1974 the liberal Democrats really hated Richard Nixon.
In 1998 the Newt Gingrich Republicans really hated Bill Clinton.
In 2019 the Nancy Pelosi Democrats really hate Donald Trump.

The way for a president to avoid impeachment is to be just a wee little bit bipartisan to appease the opposition. Just putting one member of the opposition in the cabinet usually works and is historically traditional.
For example, Obama had two Republicans in his cabinet, Bob Gates at Defense and Ray La Hood at Transportation. Obama wanted to hire a third Republican, Senator Judd Gregg as Commerce Secretary but at the last moment Gregg withdrew his name. That made it difficult for the Boehner-Ryan Republicans to truly hate Obama, they just intensely disliked him, hence no impeachment.

14. Impeachment isn't supposed to be a political tool.

The prior impeachments had bipartisan support in congress this partisan on against Trump has no republicans voting for the inqusition as it stands.

15. No votes on impeachment have been taken

So we don’t know whether this one will be partisan or bipartisan.
