Unanswered questions from Trump on Ukraine matters show consciousness of guilt.

1. Why was Trump using Rudy Giuliani to go around the normal channels of diplomacy?

2.When the funding was going through consideration in congress, why didn't Trump express any concerns or objections, or why didn't he ask for any authority to withhold or apportion the funds for himself?

3. When government officials who were responsible for dispersing the funds asked for a reason for the hold, why were they repeatedly not given an answer?

4. Why was the withholding of funds kept a secret and why was there no public announcements until after the whistle blower came forward.

1. You Stalinists can't even name a crime. It's not Trump's job to indulge your mania.

4. Consciousness of guilt?

Is that another way of saying we have no evidence that a crime was committed?

5. Answered...

1. Why was Trump using Rudy Giuliani to go around the normal channels of diplomacy?

The formal channel is based on a status quo formed by long term ambassadors. The powers that be in Ukraine act in a certain way with the traditional channels...and another with the non-traditional.

2.When the funding was going through consideration in congress, why didn't Trump express any concerns or objections, or why didn't he ask for any authority to withhold or apportion the funds for himself?

Who is to say he did not? It is possible he didnt think about it until the issue was directly in front of him.

3. When government officials who were responsible for dispersing the funds asked for a reason for the hold, why were they repeatedly not given an answer?

They were too low on the totem pole. The president doesnt answer to hourly employees.

4. Why was the withholding of funds kept a secret and why was there no public announcements until after the whistle blower came forward.

Not really a big issue for most Americans.

Easy.

6. I would adjust

number 1 a bit. The primary reason is trust. Trump trusts Giuliani and does not trust career diplomats who think they set policy and work against his agenda. Based on what has been made public thus far it appears he was correct.

10. Why hasn't the President or the Republicans in congress answered any of them .

As far as expressing concerns to congress, the Republicans in the committee would have assuredly brought it up, if he had, or a journalist somewhere would have brought it up.

It should have been very simple to give them an answer.

Polls show that a majority of the people think that the President has done something wrong.

13. Yeah..

First....Congress doesnt speak for the executive.

Second...There is a large element of potential poll takers in the US that would call Trump a liar if he said his name was Donald and his shit stinks. Polls that say they think he did something wrong arent very compelling.

What do most Americans know about foreign policy and the presidents rights and duties??

11. Trump isn't on trial; he is being impeached.

All of his actions, including what he says or doesn't say could be considered by members of congress or the public.

15. None of your questions indicate a crime, they are just petty crap trying to make a failed point.

Trump failed to tie his shoes correctly, by your standards, so he is guilty of something. You don't know what yet because this is an impeachment that is still looking for a crime.

The democrats have become the party of desperate, pathetic, and petty, serial liars.

19. Dumb questions appropriately get ignored...

But here:

1. The President can use any diplomatic means/channels they see fit. Every President has used irregular channels. JFK used irregular channels to end the missile crisis and prevent WWIII. FDR used his friend Harry Hopkins as a de facto Secretary of State. A man who had no job title, no home but mostly lived in FDR's White House but was used as an FDR diplomat and advisor.

President Trump is no exception, and, with all the leakers and people who he has good reason not to trust left over from the Obama administration. Using someone else like Giuliani not only isn't anything new but makes perfect sense.

2. Perhaps President Trump realizes separation of powers and he doesn't need to advise or ask congress about everything. Perhaps he was just exercising his executive authority and privilege.

3. Why did Eric Holder and Obama repeatedly ignore congress and subpoenas regarding "Fast and Furious"? How come you folks on the left made no big deal about that? Double standard much?

4. See answer to number 2 above. The sentiment it relates is pretty much the same here.

22. Yep...it wasn't out in the open. It was side channels and secrets.

And if it was fine to withhold the money, why isn't Trump still withholding the money now? If it was so important that Biden be investigated, why did Trump not just keep withholding the money instead of releasing it right away once he knew he was caught?
