1. There's always going to be people looking to blame external factors for their failures.

We call those people "losers".

Winners look for internal factors and seek to overcome or mitigate their effect; in the process they learn and adapt.

2. White Racism is dying. WP is a fantasy to keep it alive and garner vote for Democrats.

The real racists today are blacks.

3. In the case of that Tweet.....

....I'd chalk it up to bitterness. She feels bitter that her "hard work" didn't pay off. But it's not because of anything racial......its because I can't seriously see most children being interested in a book about Ilhan Omar.

Publishers want to sell books.

That book is not going to sell, hence the rejections.

It's her subject matter, not her work ethic. Not every idea is a winner so, back to the drawing board for another go at a more marketable idea

Or, just be bitter....

4. King is a liberal as they come too.

She is saying that just by pushing the right buttons her efforts should be published without regard to merit.

5. If white privilege was a tangible thing

Mixed race Americans would claim it instead of claiming their dark half as their identity.

The real privilege is having good parents and many times culture plays a role in how we view responsibilities such as raising children. Pretty simple stuff.
