Obama Slumps to 35% Approval

Barack Obama’s approval rating slid into dangerous territory this week, with the latest Reuters-Ipsos poll showing just 35 percent of Americans approve of the president’s job performance even as he leads the nation into a war against Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East.

Fifty-eight percent of Americans expressed disapproval of the White House’s current occupant — 37 percent of them “strongly.” Just 17 percent strongly approved of Obama’s current performance. The poll is based on a five-day rolling average.

The White House has struggled under a series of escalating foreign-policy crises, at times appearing to flail for a response to Islamic State brutality and the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine. The poll likely does not reflect reaction to the administration’s broad air attack on Islamic State targets in Syria, conducted Monday night and slated to continue for the foreseeable future.

5. Lmao!

So the left is using Rasmussen now? Is that the level of desperation they are at? Slumping their shoulders and lowering their head and silently pointing to a polling firm they have bitched about for years?

Ha ha ha ha, oh man, this is hitting a whole new level of stupid! Thanks, you never fail to let me down!

Accused of being wildly inaccurate.

Yep.

12. I think Republicons, Rethugs and Republican'ts

are a pretty good description, since all Republicans call the Democratic
party the Democrat party. You have to give respect to receive respect.

stark raving mad barking moon bat to describe liberals, but it makes me look like I'm in grade school to post it.

Respect is earned. Not going to happen with that attitude.

20. Look at history any progress we have made as a society was from progressives

or liberals as you like to call them. I am proud to be called a liberal if it wasn' t for liberals we would still have slaves and the company store. What has the Republican party produced?

your self congratulatory opinion does not impress.

Typical and ongoing liberal narrative, no thought involved.

Yeah for the simpleton parrot!

have done. I will give Ike credit for the interstate highways but he wouldn't be welcome in todays Republican party.

23. What does it matter

I'm not a member of either party. The scorecard you are maintaining just isn't important to me.

From reading here and elsewhere, liberals believe they are superior to all, in all areas. They also have the ability to rationalize anything.

It is a fools errand. You can carry on believing what you like, as nothing I could possibly post would be any more than fodder for your game.

27. Things LIBERALS brought us, SS, Medicare, ACA, minimum wage, 40 hour

work week, the 8 hour day, job safety, employer healthcare insurance, defined benifit pensions, the right to collective bargining, electricty to rural areas, civil rights, to name a few. Republicans want to destroy all the above, basicly every bit of progress made for the working class.

delusional fantasies perhaps. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Enjoy your game though.

It will not help us as a nation and most likely not help your team the way you think it will.

14. Why don't you grow up, you want to make a big deal about

the polls, well it's fact the Republicans in congress are like 10%. The only poll that means shit is the election and Obama crushed Romney. What is ironic Romney said 47% were the takers and Romney got 47%.

17. The number is likely even lower

There's sizeable contingent of libbies out there that wouldn't admit their dislike for him under any circumstances, just to avoid giving the other side the satisfaction of knowing they were sold a bill of goods.

18. Gallup's new poll out today had him at 42% approval, and Rasmussen's had him at 47% approval

I can't see any significant movement, and to the extent that I see (insignificant) movement, it's up rather than down.

24. This is just an example of the country becoming more anti-Christian

Obama has professed his faith in his savior Jesus Christ. He holds prayer breakfasts. He talks about his conversations with God and considers Jesus an historical figure. I think for the country to think so lowly of him does not bode well for other God fearing Christians just like our President.
