4. I had the virus

I just felt like ass for a few days then I was better. My one cousin is an ER Nurse and ended up in the hospital, underlying conditions and she is younger than me. Had a friend with underlying conditions and he died.

My other Cousin is a Dr and said HCQ, Z- PACK and Zink work wonders if given immediately. If you let it go to the advanced stage then not very much.

My other cousin could not take it because of her underlying problems so she ended up in the hospital and is home now at about 90% recovery.

I will wait for your response with anticipation!

Please show me how many Lupus patients who have been on this drug for years that it has killed? Also show me how many Lupus patients on this drug contracted the Chinese death virus??

6. Gov. Cuomo said that older people are going to die anyway, no matter what you do. ...

While that may be technically true Cuomo seemed to want to help them die sooner. I guess he looks at old people as nonproductive members of society so they are basically worthless.

Hopefully the older people in New York State will remember that when and if he runs for office again.

9. Antimalarial drug touted by Trump is linked to increased risk of death in coronavirus patients, stud

A study of 96,000 hospitalized coronavirus patients on six continents found that those who received an antimalarial drug promoted by President Trump as a “game changer” in the fight against the virus had a significantly higher risk of death compared with those who did not.

People treated with hydroxychloroquine, or the closely related drug chloroquine, were also more likely to develop
a type of irregular heart rhythm, or arrhythmia, that can lead to sudden cardiac death, it concluded.

The study, published Friday in the medical journal the Lancet, is the largest analysis to date of the risks and benefits of treating covid-19 patients with antimalarial drugs. It is based on a retrospective analysis of medical records, not a controlled study in which patients are divided randomly into treatment groups — a method considered the gold standard of medicine. But the sheer size of the study was convincing to some scientists.

“It’s one thing not to have benefit, but this shows distinct harm,” said Eric Topol, a cardiologist and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute. “If there was ever hope for this drug, this is the death of it.”

David Maron, director of preventive cardiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine, said that “these findings provide absolutely no reason for optimism that these drugs might be useful in the prevention or treatment of covid-19.”

Past studies also found scant or no evidence of hydroxychloroquine’s benefit in treating sick patients, while reports mounted of dangerous heart problems associated with its use. As a result, the Food and Drug Administration last month warned against the use of the drug outside hospital settings or clinical trials.

11. Large study finds hydroxychloroquine Covid-19 treatments linked to greater risk of death and heart a

Seriously ill Covid-19 patients who were treated with hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine were more likely to die or develop dangerous heart arrhythmias, according to a large observational study published Friday in the medical journal The Lancet.
Researchers analyzed data from more than 96,000 patients with confirmed Covid-19 from 671 hospitals. All were hospitalized from late December to mid-April, and had died or been discharged by April 21.
Just below 15,000 patients were treated with the antimalarial drugs hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, or one of those drugs combined with an antibiotic.
All four of those treatments were linked with a higher risk of dying in the hospital. About 1 in 11 patients in the control group died in the hospital. About 1 in 6 patients treated with chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine alone died in the hospital. About 1 in 5 treated with chloroquine and an antibiotic died and almost 1 in 4 treated with hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic died.
Researchers also found that serious cardiac arrhythmias were more common among patients receiving any of the four treatments. The largest increase was among the group treated with hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic; 8% of those patients developed a heart arrhythmia, compared with 0.3% of patients in the control group.
“Previous small-scale studies have failed to identify robust evidence of a benefit and larger, randomised controlled trials are not yet completed,” study co-author Dr. Frank Ruschitzka, director of the Heart Center at University Hospital Zurich, said in a statement. “However, we now know from our study that the chance that these medications improve outcomes in COVID-19 is quite low.”

13. Heres the problem with your propaganda....

If it kills people Trump looks terrible.

If it does nothing to help and nothing to Hurt.
Nothing against Trump.

If it helps some hurts other. Trump is a genius they just have to ID when it is helpful.

If it helps generally Trump is a guy that fought for it and tried to save people.

In the end, the only thing the left can hope for is the worst possible conclusion.

17. trump has not completed his physical. Is there something wrong?

It’s been more than six months since President Donald Trump claimed to have started his annual physical at Walter Reed hospital but the White House is declining to explain why he has yet to complete the yearly doctor’s examination.

Senior administration officials did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for comment about the delay — despite Trump announcing this week he was taking an unproven and potentially dangerous drug after being exposed to an aide who tested positive for coronavirus.

Asked in early March about when he would complete his physical, the president told reporters, “I’m going probably over the next 90 days. I’m so busy, I can’t do it.”

A month later, as the coronavirus pandemic hospitalized UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Trump said he would finish the exam “at the appropriate time” adding, “but I feel very good.”

A president’s annual physical typically occurs at the beginning of a new year. Trump’s 2019 exam was conducted in February, and his 2018 physical was conducted in January. It is uncommon for a president to complete a routine physical exam months apart and in multiple stages.

20. Hillary Clinton: Trump 'needs to stop playing a doctor on TV'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lambasted President Trump on Friday for promoting an anti-malaria drug as a treatment for COVID-19 that research has shown causes heart problems and death in patients.

"A study of 96,000 coronavirus patients found that those who received a drug Trump has promoted as a treatment had a 'significantly higher risk of death compared with those who did not,'" Clinton said in a tweet to her 27.8 million followers.

"The president needs to stop playing a doctor on TV."
